Afternoon everyone. I have saved my pound today thanks to Mr S and their self scan tills not working correctly.

Bought 2 x 4 pints of milk for £3 and a packet of marmite rie cakes 45p. MIL went before me and then the tills went loopy, so when the assistant put the shopping through manually, it all went together and MIL said no when I tried to pay her back!

Then she sent me home with a large £4 pack of mince that she bought but didn't want!?!?! So I have split that for two meals and frozen it.

@skint please add another £7.45 to my £100 total for today, thankyou (think that makes me at £32.16)

Elly I struggle with food and takeaways as well, so this is an area I really need to work on a lot more to save money as well as my health.

Off to the gym in a mo

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMBURY!

Nixi hope you're feeling a bit better now hun, timing very weird though, hope you're ok, it'll be a tough time for you *hugs* x

Looks like everyone's doing well saving their money this week! I'm not going to join in, but I'm watching with interest!

I'm planning to do some decluttering when I get home tonight, OH is back soon and at the moment the house is a tip! Well, not exactly a tip, but it feels like it to me, I always go mad cleaning it up, but he knows fine well that I don't really live like that usually when he's gone :D Still, maybe my Flylady tips will change all that!

    Toots x

mabel bought something already from yukki as a present for someone and kept it lol, so was spreading the love/ money. Anyone any good ideas for inlaws 40th they are in florida with my kids on the actual date .
right managed to get bank on phone so they are sending form for council tax refund . i have also asked for a breakdown of what we paid back when motrgage ended .
contacted customer services about insurance f**k up and they said it would be 8 weeks before someone could look at it funnily enough i dont think they would wait 8 weeks if the shoe was on other foot
next i'm going to look into tax codes think i might not be getting rcn/nmc relief
So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x

Aww, thanks Nix. Don't worry about me, I'm struggling through. Vets weren't interested in Puppy, spent yesterday nursing him and today he is much, much better. I've started a claim on my health insurance. Just need to see my GP now, as they need notes from him...3 letters. Might have to write to him and ask for them as he is impossible to see.

Having trouble with housing problems at the minute, and Spain, and some family stuff. Feels like the rug gets pulled from under my feet whenever I try to stand up! I don't want to burden it on here...am around, though.

    How are you today?

Happy Birthday Mambury :) Hope you are having a great day!
