I think as they have continued billing him, then the rental agreement must not have been terminated by the 7 day notice.
Or at least that is what the logic dictates - legal never really follows logic...£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!
Debt free by Xmas 2015: #182 £1955.38/£4435.51 (44.08%)

Morning/Afternoon!
I seem to have been AWOL for a while and my finances are suffering. Put DS into nursery and I'm now embarrassed to admit that I can't really afford it. £156 a month for 2 half days, feel guilty aswell cos the little man really enjoys the interaction.
Need to start really scrimping and saving - no treats for a while.
Have sorted out my business plan and have the stock so hopefully that will be an extra bit of cash.0 -
nixi as hard as it is I don't think you can do much until they come back to you and let you know the situation from their point of view and whether the stuff has all gone.
then I would ask them to put it in writing to you and say you need a week to consider your response.
Is there any way you can look through your dads paperwork to see if he actually received the notice to quit. If not you may be able to challenge it as he continued to be biled by mistake maybe the notice to quit was never actually sent and how can they prove it.
but thats probably getting ahead of yourself.
I think for now all you can do is make sure that they are on the case of finding out. take some deep breaths and remind yourself that it will all be ok and that there are people such as CAB/ age concern etc that you can turn to for help plus the dribblers support once you have a clearer picture of the situation.
Big Big Hugs hun. not nice at all to have to deal with. but you will get there.

Hi Paula glad the funeral was ok. positive doesn't sound silly. I went to the most beautiful funeral before christmas and it really helped me at the time and I'm not religious.
well done on the Ebay sales hun.
Nikki sounds like hard going but I'm sure you can do it. much as he loves the interaction don't worry at his age that he would not be ok without it. at his age you are the most important thing to him and a happy you and no nursery would be just as good for him.
Not that I am saying take him out - but if you decide to or to cut it down try not to feel guilty. your baby does not decide your value as a mother on whether you send him to nursery or not.

Thanks Jo - I would not have thought about asking to put things in writing, that is such a sensible idea!! My biggest concern is my dad - I won't tell him anything at the moment as I don't know enough, but I honestly don't know if I should tell him at all....... but that is a whole other story!
Mabel - I have been meaning to ask, did you get anything from your discount in the paper? Also did you send me the papers? (I hope not because i haven't had them!)
All wedding related businesses........ I am asking this as I am considering an idea, but don't hold me to anything yet......would any of you be interested in doing a joint offer/campaign??? So Dilli for invites, Mabel for jewellery, Skint for a cake (obviously we could have transportation issues as my idea is nationwide....but not worrying immediately about ttat!!), who was favours? and I am sure there was someone else too
Skint this is because of your idea the other day lol! Anyway anyone interested in potentially thinking and maybe doing something together (I'd do the doing!!) please pm me and as I formulate the idea some more I will pm you back...... sorry to be vague but it is a vague idea so far!!!Life is a work in progress0 -

Afternoon everyone
Well, the interview went fine, I think. She said it was someone else who has to put the final signature but she can't see why she wouldn't, and she'd try to get an offer letter out today. But, I need to join before September as fees are going up then, so I need to join for 1st July. Which means student finance have about three weeks to sort themselves out. Wouldn't be too bad but need a letter from my doctor for them...
Equipment is here. Am using new laptop now. It's much bigger and is laid out properly so it's easier to type. They gave me something to help me use it in bed but it's very sharp and really painful to use...the thought was there, though. And software, so I can record lectures or talk into the computer and it'll write it out for me, read it back to me and make it into pretty pictures. So, all in all, it was okay.
Have decided that Designs By Elle was my dream, and I still love making things, so once I've found somewhere in Spain I will continue from over there. I've almost worked out the logistics. Now I need to convert from an unhealthy moaner to a businesswoman! Maybe the sun will help.
Puppy is still bad, hand fed him this morning and he's just sleeping. Maybe just tired from all the strangers, though?
Nixi...that's terrible, about the garage. I see what you mean about not telling your Dad...I'd keep quiet until I knew exactly where his things was. I know with my parents garage that when they ended the 'tenancy' because my parents hadn't paid, they kept their things for two months to give them ample time to collect. So the council should know exactly where his things are, and have given you plenty of notice of this so you could arrange collection. I hope that they find them...
Mabel, is your internet working yet? Firefox has issues at the moment, apparantly turning off Link Scanner helps?
NLID - Wow, you sound busy. The work will pay off in the end!
Jo, your children sound wonderful. I picture them as those two adorable children from Mary Poppins...

Hi Saucy-its not too bad now thanks-have no idea what link scanner is but will bear that in mind for next time! I expect puppy is just tired,a lot of visitors does tire them out, especially when its warm. Good luck with the student finance hun.
Sounds good Nixi! nope nothing from the article, havent sent the newspapers yet am waiting til we sort out your jewellery payment! Lost the email with your preferences on so i'm afraid you'll have to pick again!
DS's party sounds like my kind of party...mmm...sweets! can I come Jo?!0
