I personally wouldn't get too hung up about a few reviews worrying about visibility. There are thousands of new fiestas and corsas about and people drive and park them with no problems. Which ever car you get, you won't even think about it in a week or so.

I just got on 08 Corsa last week and love it so far.

My tip on buying is to know what you're happy to pay and stick to it. If you need to walk away then walk away. If you're not in a rush then just wait as there will always be another suitable car around the corner. With the one I'd bought I negotiated hard on an already keenly priced car but couldn't come to a deal so left it. Then a week later the dealer called to say they'd do it at the price I wanted so long as I completed before the end of April

    Corsa..... hmmm.

If you can find a VX dealer that still has 5 door old model Astras in you'll get them for the same price as a Corsa if not less (brand new / pre-reg) - I've seen a few 10 plate ones kicking around even though Vauxhall have stopped producing them.

    Thanks all

I really have no clue! I have looked at other cars and it seems that some have smaller back windows.. the golf too

I would like a small car which is reliable and economical etc - I think I am more inclined to buy a ford. I really love the shape!! Hopefully I will be able to test drive one later and see whether I like it or not..

My fiesta has parking sensors on the rear. You may find a nearly new one with them already fitted.
    ML.
He who has four and spends five, needs neither purse nor pocket

Must be cheaper than a proper size rear window.

Well they do have " kinetic " design, whatever that is supposed to mean.

The Fiesta's visibility isn't that bad - I haven't hit anything yet when moving them around at work (we have 15 pool Fiestas that people leave abandoned in strange places ) :rotfl:

I learnt in the fiesta never had any problem with manoeuvres which should be a good test of visibility.

How good are the deals? How do they compare to normal cars that are already over here and were first registered here?

Good question! Actually not that good, as I have had time to research some more...
