I think Dave will do OK.If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0 -
It's almost impossible to vote for who will be the best for your particular area unless either (a) you know the local candidates v well personally, or (b) you have very specific local issues which certain local candidates have promised to address, eg the closure of a local hospital, say.
For most people, neither of those apply.
I don't particularly want a labour government, but the local guy has had very good results on pushing local issues, 'represents people like me' if you like.....
....the tory guy is a complete ar*e, who will have no interest I'm sure in the (deprived) urban areas where change is needed, and will spend all his time and effort with the local wealth out on their estates (not the council variety)
I don't think a tory government will be that great, but i'm not hugely worried about the prospect. i would however HATE this guy to be our MP.
maybe I'm stereotyping. oh i don't knowWe cannot change anything unless we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses. Carl Jung

Brown's message, hold very tight to nurse for fear of finding something worse! It's not the most positive electoral programme I've ever seen.
If you prefer not to have England 'progressed' into a Socialist utopia vote Tory
Well, we come at this from very different ends, don't we.
I'd rather like Britain progressed into a 'socialist utopia' - sounds pretty good to me.
But I don't think the Labour Party are the party to do it. That's why I'll probably vote Green.
To me, the current Labour party are basically the Tories, but with more hypocrisy. At least the Tories admit to bigging up the rich.0 -
I wish they would have a box on the paper titled "None of the above"I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0

I can't see how GB can be best for you FC unless you've had a career change in the last few weeks
I really don't want 20% VAT though.......those who make abroad can take the hit on margin but we would have to increase the RP.0 -
I still dont know who I am going to vote for.
The horrible, self-interested part of me wants to vote conservative. The part of me that sat on the sofa and listened to my Grandfather eulogise Nye Bevan wants to vote labour (irrespective of the fact Gordon Brown makes me want to single-handedly storm the Mother of all Parliaments).
The decent part of me wants to vote libdem.
I may just stay home and eat chocolate...........
The quoted post has helped me make up my mind.
I'm voting chocolate!!!0 -
Well, I haven't had one knock up so far from either. Gutted I can't vote for Lucas but do you think the Green my end of town stands a chance?
This gives the figures for your constituency from last time:

I once spent all day campaigning. And then voted against the candidate I'd campaigned for, as I did know two of the candidates, and rated one over the Conservative. Felt rather good, to be honest - I'd done my party bit, but my vote was mine!
I know someone who does the same...campaigns for one but votes differently as he is decent man and great MP for the area.0
