I know what you mean......a vote for Lucas would have been perfect for me too.......oh well...I need to think about it a bit more.

I just don't feel that Cameron, though a decent type, has any idea what it is like to be Lower-Middle Class...not by any stretch of the imagination....however, have we benefitted from a Labour Govt personally? I don't know TBH.

I agree but in reality i don't think the background or the understanding of class matters that much.
Doing what is fairest and right for the country what motivates my vote at the moment.

I saw a good thing on their personal interests on the BBC. But TBH they are all upper class non are anywhere near close to the middle or lower classes.

I thought it was the Tories who were likely to put up VAT, whilst Labour was likely to put up NI?

I think labour are planing 20% vat and NI.
Tories will not rule out a vat increase.

Blimey, the Liberal Democrat site make it confusing....I like plain and easy websites not ones with bells and blooming whistles!

Moan over, now to get reading it now the easy read bit has come up.

Arrggghh, it reads as if they are explaining to a 2 year old, thought easy read meant no bells and whistles, not preaching to 2 year olds.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

For student union elections, you get a choice of RON (re-open nominations) meaning none of the above. Guessing it's not a viable choice for something like the general election?

When husting for Treasurer at my college, we were all asked what we thought of the other candidate in the election, RON. Needless to say, we all looked rather stupid as none of us knew who this character was. And so RON won. (Although I did win the second time....)

After I got over the initial shock (and the sweats and shakes :D) I took the opinion of the greater good ;)

I've already seen the positive results of their decision, both my waistline and my ISA.... But yeah, I could really do with a nice Scrumpy right now :(

This gives the figures for your constituency from last time:

Thanks for this link. I was wavering between two parties but have just found out that our lib-dem hopeful has been telling porkies on her election flyers. She claims it is a straight fight between lib-dems and labour when in fact the lib-dems came 3rd in the last election with 24% of the vote.

They never learn do they these politicians?

I don't get hung up on 'class' stuff ...or try not to..but as DD went to school somewhere different this past year, I have become privvy to some views from her fellow classmates that shocked me a bit TBH. OK, I can't judge a group od 16 yr olds (as if :D) but I some of their views come from their upbringing and they have absoloutely zero idea of what it is like to start out in life with nothing but your wits.
