I was hoping to be away on holiday as it was my boyfriend's b'day over the weekend, but couldn't

Started a part-time job in Feb to keep some money coming in whilst I try to write a thesis (eek!) and the rest of my lab are away at conferences this week so I have to be in to (try to) hold everything together! Keep telling myself that if it wasn't for the job I wouldn't be able to think about a holiday anyway but its still going to be horrible travelling to work tomorrow morning (after voting of course!)0 -
Also I get to look inside a Steiner School too as it is our polling station....always voted in a Portakabin in London.0

A local polling station, not mine, next over, is in the pub. How convenient!0 -
No. I have a funeral to go to.
I'm quite apprehensive about who gets in too. Better the devil you know, or what?0 -

I really hope the second part of your post refers to the election!
I hope tomorrow isn't too bad.
Since my grandmother's funeral I've got a bad and totally unbidden habit of ''getting the giggles'' at funerals. MAkes me try and steer clear of them.0 -
Oops. Yes.
