Hypno-band in the news again today , good thing yes or no? What do you think MG, would you want to think your stomach is the size of a golf ball? I love food too much, it worries me at £900 a go it will be used too much, when motivation for exercise and healthy eating could have worked. I would like to learn how to do it as it will save lives, and it's better than going under the knife.
Sew it, knit it, glue it, reuse it , don't buy it

I'm too much of a wuss to go under the knife - I will have to grow old disgracefully;)

McKenna "I can make you thin" combined with Slimming World seems the best of both worlds for me. Re-educating my stomach about what a portion actually is - but being able to eat as much as I "want" and the weight is slowly creeping off.

BTW - now that DS2 is weaned (silent cheers:j:j) I'm hoping I wake up one morning to find that the last stone has magically evaporated:D:D

Mind you - if itwas a toss up between that and gastric banding Ithink I'd spend my money on the non-medical version.

Just my opinion though - mind you think of the moneyyou'd save on Slimming Club fees and all that extra food you wouldn't be buying (says she who's kitchen and storecupboard are now fully provisionned against any"winter of discontent")

With the hypno band you are hypnotized to think you have had the surgery but you have'nt. They use sound effects, and smells of an operating room to make it more real. They could do that to live out your dream holiday, a 1 hour session that feels like a weekend in paradise with a hunk. ooooh I like that idea:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:If I could do that I would have very happy clients.

hi lara thanks for the input ... yes your experiences helped a good bit ... this is one of the things about hypnotherapy ... it is recommended you charge £50 an hour ... i have to admit i dont feel comfortable charging this ... but i know a person that charges £100 an hour and is happy to do so ... she is also very busy and succesful .... but i am aware that £50 is quite a lot of money for people to find

    knit where did you train?

Hi Elantan, I trained at central England college, Birmingham. I'm charging £40.00 but have a special offer leaflet for £30. I think £100 is too much, but I work from home so don't have the overheads. I want it to be available to everyone that needs it, not just those that can afford it. Anyway as Mg said early night ladies, the big day tomorrow, good luck everyone taking part, let the games begin:beer:

  • Hello MG,

You are are still inspiring me from Lurkdom at the moment, I want in on the 100 days! I was doing the 100 day challenge re debts with also inpsiring PAP but won't make my target - V annoying since I have done various 100 days (no magazines, no e bay, pay off X amount of money) and always done them (mind you there is still time....) but I would really like to sell my junk on e bay and be more organised, when I get in tomorrow night I shall make a proper plan?

Reading your diary is great you know xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
