100 days ... what do i want to achieve in 100 days .... i know what i want but my goodness it is going to be hard work .... spose better hard work means i will appreciate it more
But just think how satisfied you will feel in 101 days looking back at what you have achieved - how you took the dificult step and started something amazing - whilst everyone else moaned and grumbled about the state of economy, rising taxes, debt and disaster.
I visualise us all raising a glass on Christmas monring to all the posters here who are choosing to create a life - rather than just earn a living.
"This or something better" is going to be my motto.

I think I'd be a head case instead - maybe when the boysa re bigger I can train for a 10K. Just now I con't leave them on their own (youngest just past 2) - but I'm gonna put that on my list somewhere (not on my 100 days his time though)
Writing books - yep and mine is getting pressing. Cheering and encouragement of different kinds will be very welcome.
Get going lassie - think of the benefits when you are finished - professional recognition, higher training fees - "Gonnie Just dae It!!!"
Memorygirl, if I may, I would like to mention your fears. Loose them - you know that you are never going to find yourself with 71 p and three nappies. You have saved considerably more than that and your son will be potty trained soon (if he is not already). Your house - you fought this one and won. Loosing your fear is so liberating - just follow your passion and the rest will come.
Firewalker
Spent the early morning putting those fears literally behind me - from now on my aim to keep myself firmly focussed on the shiny new future and all the good things that are coming our way.

I think i would like a goal in several areas - social life, personal health and well being, house, family, paying off the mortgage, preparing for Christmas, earning extra pennies. I know losing weight has to be a big priority as my weight keeps creeping up and i am so busy focussing on paying down the mortgage and bringing a few extra pennies in i am conscious of it but not doing anything about it. I will do a definite list on Friday.
Small suggestion, the thread scrooge uses a lot the complete this challenge thread - that might be a really good one to use for this purpose, and it would save all the personal efforts of Memory girl being diluted. Ignore me if it sounds daft, but it is a very positive thread and scrooge is very focussed on there, and it would not matter how chatty or not everyone was.
Brilliant Michelle - I was pondering how to structure my goals. My Goals are now gong to be organised in the following categories:
FAMILY
SOCIAL LIFE
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
HEALTH
ATTITUDE
CAREER
FINANCIAL
SPIRITUAL
7 areas - one for each day of the week:D
Sounds like if there is another thread for challenges then we could use that - as long as you all keep Cheerleading for me on here too:j:j

MG any help for the business would be fantastic. I'm a hypnotherapist, so I'm helping people give up smoking so they will have more money in their pocket. It's very rewarding, I hope it is a success. I like to think the universe is helping me because I am doing something positive, that helps people.
Thank you elantan I have your quote, I have it on my wall to give me confidence, it makes me feel excited for the future everytime I read it.
Oh!! I have always wanted to learn more about that - when I was a Stage Manager I worked with a stage hypnotist and he kind of put me off a little - not the most ethical of bods
I'm going to keep my thinking cap on for you today - I have the germ of idea bubbling away - let it germinate for a while and then I'll ramble.

Morning MG & fellow posters.
This thread feels so positive at the moment
I'm in for the 100 challenge, I do need to refine my list though and make it a bit more specific.
I like Clooties-Mum's idea of 100 jobs about the house, I can see lists appearing on my own diary.
Today I am dressed for messy jobs around the house, although I do have my scrape of make up on (never know who you might meet)
Catch you all later :hello:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
