Oooh can I play too please?

Only thing is I'm not sure what to choose! I'll have just have started an OU degree when this finishes so will be perfect timing for me to really achieve something before I have to get down to studying a bit. But how do I choose something?? Only thing I can sort of think of is to have my house completely as I want it, as I'm skint it would have to be a MSE makeover but maybe acheiveable???? Hmmmm....

On the subject of clothes I sort of Gokked myself a few months ago, was so sick of feeling like a frump or a scruff. I did buy a few new bits, lots from Primark though or Ebay and paid for most of it with Ebay sales of my maternity clothes. I love not really rough all the time now. Todays look is cream flats with a gold chain detail, dark brown trousers with a faint pinstripe, dark cream vest with a ruffle around neckline and arms, creamy coloured cardie with lace panels around bottom, loads of gold bangles and long gold necklace.
Trying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!
    Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings
MFW target 2012 to save £11,000 for Over Payments/fill ISA's and reduce lots of things - outgoings, alcohol, waste, weight

I want to play, but how am I going to keep up with you :rotfl:. I'm still stuck at the bottom of the laundry basket trying to find some clothes that fit, so I can fully engage in the ugly duckling to swan transformation in mamma swan's wake :rotfl:. I'm the scruffy, wee straggler at the back of the pack.

Today I am wearing jeans, which are actually far too big for me now, as I've lost a stone recently, so I'm showing a builder's bum .

Do you have a link to mind maps as I don't really understand what they are :o.

    Love your energy!!!

Erm! Scrooge!! Was the scruffy, wee straggler at the back not the one that became the "ugly duckling" in the story - and we all know what happened to her - :T:T

As for my energy - remember I am at the absolute point where i am desperate to change our lives. I am also on benefits and am going to regard this next 100 days as my "Full-time job" on the way to getting back into a "full-time job"

Also my perfect man hasn' materialised out of the rain today - so I've only got me and my two gentlemen to consider - so its not like I'm running a "full Household" - I've also got you lot egging me on, so I'm not listenning to the litany of the "Scottish Ah!! Buts!!!" around me.

So I think this is easy peasy compared to "real life"

I want to play 100 days. As I said before, I have been losing my fear but there is still loads to do. So, if accepted, my 100 days challenge will be to finish my popular book - the race is on. Talking races, a sub-4h 30 min marathon in about 100 days would be great as well. I will keep track of both on my tread so that Memorygirl's is not cluttered.

Are you for real Firewalker?? Are you really going to run a Marathon?? OMG you are really my hero now :)

Right, so two of us are going to write books - we can cheer each other on.

So I'm beginning to realise that the pain of staying where I am is a lot scarier than the "fear" of grabbing my life by the doo-dahs and doing something crazy every day for the next 100 days to catapult me forward.

'And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight in the bud became more painful than the risk to blossom'.

Time for me to blossom to, can I play the 100 day game please :D. I started my new business this week, so my challenge is to have 15 clients a week. So far I have 1 booked in:( so quick slurp of tea and I going leafleting.

Thats a lovely quote knitwit - think I may throw that one up on my wall for the journey ahead.

Congratulations on your baby business - and in the middle of a recession - brave or what :T:T. What do you do? Can we help? brainstorm ideas for you to get more clients perhaps?

If you don't want to tell - then you don't have to BTW, I'm just beeing a nosy moo

Thats an idea - mine needs more refurbishment than redecoration though. Perhaps I could choose to refurb my house on £1K or something daft
