I'd play at the 100 day challenge. The only thing i can think of top of my head is weight loss, but i am sure i can think of something else too. Especially with 2 days to do it in. :D My 5 year wedding anniversary is on the 22nd of October, so it would be lovely to do something that would make that more memorable to me. ;)

Mindmaps scrooge - simplified version, although it is better than that. It is like a spider diagram, but in lots of colour, and from my interpretation, really helps if you add pictures. One word only allowed per branch, but you can have lots of branches off one branch. Our school had one lady trained to do them, so i only got my training from her, but i used to use it a lot at school and get kids to do them as a revision tool at the end of topics.

Scrooge, I thought this one was very appropriate as I don't know where my time is going these days!

If you want more, mind maps not time :), just google mind maps images. There are plenty!

Thanks for all the mind map linkies guys - and you are right they are brilliant for learning and revision because they work exactly how the brain likes to remember - in pictures.

I am now proudly typing this from my newly sorted out office - well when I say sorted out I can at least get to the desk now. There is still a pile of fabric in the corner waiting to be turned into something fabulous, but 'm going to have a think about where in the house my sewing area would be best set up - you always feel like being creative and put it off because itmeans pulling out all you bits n pieces. So a permanent home would be good.

Whilst cleaning I have also come up with a "dressing List" - variations on the Capsule wardrobe. Alredy I have come up with 31 different outfits, just imagine, a whole month of never wearing the same thing twice. I think I'm gonna like this. I wonder how many different outfits you can actually compile using the 24 pieces?? And I wonder how many you would actually need to give you 100 different outfits?? Don't worry thats not a challenge for someone to work out - I'm just musing!!!

Going to look out my coloured pencils and sharpen them before making lunch for me and the boys - then its Mind Maps a go-go. Lets get this plan on the go!!!!

My 100 day challenge is to find a way of reaching my turn £100 into £10,000 year goal. I am 25% of the way there but I need to crank up the action and move my new business from generating £100.00 a month to £2,000.00 a month in the next 100 days.

Thanks for the links they look great, though they look totally chaotic to me as I usually work in lists and figures, and I can't draw. I'm always open to new ways though , especially as my current plan for my business isn't working. I will have a read up today x.

Looking forward to hearing your plan MG.

    Memorygirl and all,

would you please, please accept me as a playmate? I can't play Gok dressing up - this area of my life will take a lot of doing; I live in corduroys and teashirts; or if I am being smart linen black trousers and black tea's; and working more from home I usually ware something baggy and confy. This is my nature and going agaist it might have detrimental results.

I want to play 100 days. As I said before, I have been losing my fear but there is still loads to do. So, if accepted, my 100 days challenge will be to finish my popular book - the race is on. Talking races, a sub-4h 30 min marathon in about 100 days would be great as well. I will keep track of both on my tread so that Memorygirl's is not cluttered.

Do you know Miggy - only last night I opened a box in my office and found an International Award from Business Network International - called "The Little Acorn" award

A coincidence?????????? Nah!!!! We don't believe in coincidences -do we. I'm off to add BNI as one of my dream clients for when I get back to work. I have a great idea for a "Family break-out session"** for their international conferences.

Time to add it to my 100 day plan.

Thanks Miggy - you and the Universe showing me the way

PS Whats wrong with pink socks - I have a pair of pink, white, blue and green stripy ones that are referred to as "Mums Lucky Socks". Socks, like gentlemans ties should be an expression of our craziness. XXX
    Hi MG,
Have you put your 'Little Acorn' somewhere on your wall to spur you on?!
Re: pink socks - nothing wrong with them as such, in fact I think yours sounds truly funky, but mine were a stage aawy from glowing in the dark and were being worn with black sandals! Don't tell Gok!
Your 'Family Breakout Day'... I know I have found ideas DH brought home from work training, to be helpful. We have Paul McGee's S.U.M.O. up on the wall near the computer because both of us find it very helpful.

So I'm beginning to realise that the pain of staying where I am is a lot scarier than the "fear" of grabbing my life by the doo-dahs and doing something crazy every day for the next 100 days to catapult me forward.

'And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight in the bud became more painful than the risk to blossom'.

Time for me to blossom to, can I play the 100 day game please :D. I started my new business this week, so my challenge is to have 15 clients a week. So far I have 1 booked in:( so quick slurp of tea and I going leafleting.

By moving fact, like a mad thing I don't have any time to start thinking, I just have to do. If I'm really in a CNB (Canny be bothered) mood then I have been known to sing along at the top of my voice too.

Well if nothing else it gets the cats out of the way of the hoover

    :rotfl:

I've been well informed by my friends and family that my singing is unique and as such should be kept quiet :p No idea why, but their comments make me sing all the more and louder! :D

Well done on clearing your office space hun :)

As soon as I have a wardrobe I shall 'Gok' my clothes :)

Black trousers and a blue top for me today. No makeup as usual
