Keeping_Motivated wrote: »MG I really admire you, not just because of what you are achieving on this thread but the fact that you are juggling all this while bringing up 2 young sons on your own and running a home which we all know is a full time multi tasking blooming hard job all on its own! So I do hope you are proud of yourself, when you tuck those 2 children in at night, that you have managed to give them a lovely day, lovely food and a secure home while you have all this challenge stuff going on the background.
And 4lbs weight loss too...come on spill the beans...I need more info on this lol...is it juice for every meal?
google Jason vale - the juice master hon.
i'm doing juices all day then a light meal in the evening with the boys. what it has done is knocked all the snacking on the head - its as much juice as you want to drink - so although you get the munchies you are not actually hungry iyswim?

I appear to have a problem.
I live in Northern Ireland, but I'm English. The ear for The Universe is obviously local and having problems with my accent as it is mishearing my mantra of 'Money flows easily TO me' as 'THROUGH me'
I think I'll change it to 'Money flows easily to me.....and stays in the bank account!!'

I am trying very hard to keep up with this thread but struggling
I try and have a read every day but it is moving so fast.
I decided to buy Eat, Pray, Love and see if that helps me (can't get hold of The Secret at all).
You all are so motivated and inspirational on here, that if I don't keep up I can still glean useful hints and tips from you all.

Seriously (someone else has asked this too) - are you just substituting juice for each meal? Or is it just all juice & you have one when you're hungry?
And are juiced Mars bars allowed?
See this could be a challenge for me this week - seeing as the trees are still heavy with fruit....
it was your bag of seriously juicy apples and pears that inspired me to pull out the juice book - so go for it with your trees.
your apples make seriously yummy juice btw.
and i drink about 5 x 15 fl oz glasses through the day then a veggie and light evening meal.
Feeling ok on it so far - but most imoprtant thing it has done is get rid of the snack habit.

Hi Robsmum, I bought a copy this week from from Amazon, less than £7.00. Only started it last night but if you are still looking for it when I have finished happy to pass it on.
Someone suggested a venue in Leeds - not too far from me and I expect several of us could make our way there. Perhaps we need to think about clusters of interested people within easy daily travelling - then it may not be quite so many venues and an easier task for MG. If there was a "sell out" at a venue you could do more than one date "by public demand" - just like a rock star.
Wow Clairewop, things are looking good:)
Souk, looks like things may be moving on for you too. Positive vibes on their way.
Have a great day everyone0 -
MG, tried loads on freecycle, might just buy a wee one at the end of the week for all the delicious food for the winter!

don't worry about keeping up - the great thing about everything being on here in writing is that you can work through at your own pace - and chip in whenever you feel motivated to do so.
So you can never really "be behind"

Ha, I got to the end of the pages! This afternoon, it will be a couple of times working on the challenges - I haven't done anything on the blog since the beginning of the week. My own preparation for take-off is carrying on, tho - yesterday, I attended a six hour seminar, free except for a couple of pounds rail fare, to add to my compulsory 30 hours a year Continuing Professional Development; I've decluttered client files, just about to pack them away again; I'm painting the kitchen today, and shaping some plants in the garden. I've now been in this house five and a half weeks, and the aim is to be completely finished on all the makeover stuff by Christmas, but to have started the new business long before then - the leadup will be in October, and I'll do it in November. Now there's a commitment. The seminar I went to yesterday was on NLP, which is tailormade for these sorts of challenges too.
Thanks MG!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
