Claire, when people pay by paypal, there is a box that asks for a voucher or code. Don't know how it works or anything but wondered if you could use that somehow rather than the website?

  • Wow, great news Claire!

And how exciting MG! I love a new diary :j So many possibilities :j

This student session - I've got it in my head this is for kind of GCSE age students, rather than university students - can't really help much with the former, but can help a fair bit with the latter so could you (or someone else!) remind me?? :o

Students survival guide day is basically any kid over the age of ten (younger only if parents are with them) - right through to pensionners. oldest group was for the university of the third age - and they were so naughty!!!!! but what a hoot:rotfl::rotfl:

it covers all the skills to need to "learn how to learn" - so that you can go off and be a turbo-charged super learner for the rest of your life.

i know its something that should be taught in schools - but hands up how many of us actually got taught how we learned when we were at school - somehow we were supposed to pick it all up by osmosis.

so if you know big kid students - they can come and play too:D in fact I used to do a lot of work with 2nd year undergraduates - when they found out that university was actually about being a self-motivated learners and got themsleves in a panic.

Ok any Input and ideas are valueble, what would your daughter call the site? and what do you mean by darker? If it means generating more sales etc i'll have a go.

    Also what sort of jewellery?

I've been thinking about you whilst going about Tesco. After ruling out Claire's Accessories (think it's been done already) the best we could come up with was CT2 which would link it to the first site. That way you could advertise both sites on the same flyer in a ying & yang, night and day sort of "Which side of you will you be today? Light and feminine? Or dark and edgy?"
  • most i have spoken to in one place was 2200 at disneyland paris - one physics in action courses that consisted of huge multi-media seminars and then telling the kids how

    force = mass x acceleration

then throwing them around a roller coaster until they hurled:eek:

brilliant fun - but a bit of a one off - :rotfl:

if we get loads of people we will just find a venue that fits so lets not set any limits.

    thanks hon

    mg
Lol no danger of me getting anywhere near 2200 :rotfl:
Actually I'm more worried about enticing you down to Leeds and then everyone I contact saying no thanks but we can cross that bridge if it comes to it.

Er, I don't think so! :rotfl:

Right, in that case I'm in on 3 counts for the student day, have 3 universities at my finger tips and access to a load of disgruntled lecturers! :rotfl: Will have a think on.
