MG I really admire you, not just because of what you are achieving on this thread but the fact that you are juggling all this while bringing up 2 young sons on your own and running a home which we all know is a full time multi tasking blooming hard job all on its own! So I do hope you are proud of yourself, when you tuck those 2 children in at night, that you have managed to give them a lovely day, lovely food and a secure home while you have all this challenge stuff going on the background.
And 4lbs weight loss too...come on spill the beans...I need more info on this lol...is it juice for every meal?0 -
Taka - what you make is beautiful! Very stylish, I love it.
clairewop - I love the opulence of your bracelet designs, and I think your Christmas designs are just fantastic, a really good take on Christmas trees in particular.
cherisong - so sorry you didn't get the voluntary redundancy. If, after a little while, you *can* use it to spur you on to fulfil your heart's desire, well, thats very special, and you *have* to keep posting about it
MG - I'm only on page 165 as I'm typing this (can't keep up!!!) I hope you managed to get your hair cut yesterday for you know what tomorrow2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning All
This thread is having a strange, but good effect on my life already:jSince starting to read it I have felt more positive than I have in years, my relationship with OH which is good but had got stale is improving and my way of thinking is changing. Still got to focus on what I want to change and how - there's so much!
Haven't read The Secret yet but ordered it from libaray (15 people in front of me), looked for it in charity shops and none had it, but in our Watersones there is a big pile but not in my budget at 14.99. But the message has reaxched Suffolk.
Thinking about writing everything down today as I had planned to garden and it's freezing and raining. I think the Universe is telling me something here.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Lol no danger of me getting anywhere near 2200 :rotfl:
Actually I'm more worried about enticing you down to Leeds and then everyone I contact saying no thanks but we can cross that bridge if it comes to it.
You got me thinking hon - i actually do have a plan for "filling the room" - its all laid out on mind maps.
Give me a wee while and i will write it in longhand and post it up for you to have a scoot at - but it all breaks down in to really little chunks, remember the 15 minute thingie.
so anyone whos thinking about having me visit ,it won't be down to you alone to fill the room - but instead working with a group of people and us all doing little bits that link together.
like with claire -
if 100 of us decide to distribute 100 emailable or printed leaflets for claires jewellery directing peeps to the website, thats 10,000 people. If 3% of those people buy a present for Christmas and the average spend is a fiver - then claire will make £1500 worth of sales from us supporting her with 15 minutes of our time.
Does that make sense?
Same principle applies to so much of what we are all doing - a lot of people dong a little.
back soon with my plan i promise

Go you on the weight loss
Seriously (someone else has asked this too) - are you just substituting juice for each meal? Or is it just all juice & you have one when you're hungry?
And are juiced Mars bars allowed?
See this could be a challenge for me this week - seeing as the trees are still heavy with fruit....Debts 07/12/2021
