  • My creative hobbies of choice are crochet, cross stitch and embroidery, making cushions, card making, making my own clothes, and patchwork. Oh and cooking. And singing. This is why I need to retire, so I have enough time to actually do all of this stuff!! :rotfl:

Hahaha crickett! I am exactly the same. I have started my list of things to do when I either retire or win the lottery!! I only have 23 years to wait.

I am also fired up with enthusiasm when I read this thread and keep thinking of what I can offer and wish that I could just drop the fear but it's not going to happen at the moment. I am in a bit of a miserable tunnel at the moment with a flicker of a bright light quite a way away! My own diary is awash with whingeing usually and my to do lists never seem to reduce!

But, amazingly enough I am making headway on my bit of debt and working really hard to be rid of it sooner rather than later.

So I think I will keep up to date with the amazing people on this journey alongside MG and hopefully I will receive the full force of the universe helping me out when I am good and ready.

Souk - Ill look you up when i'm debt free and I can afford you to take me shopping and style me up!!

Taka - I'm definitely interested in some silver pieces, for family for christmas. Any other designs?

I'm slowly trying to read the whole thread from the start but get side-tracked by all the good ideas and inspiration.... I've not done a tree but I've created a chart with all the £100 payments I need to get out of debt. I've also tidied my room and cleared everything away!

PS There is a meet in glasgow tomorrow at 3pm if anyone fancies it at Oran Mor x

  • Hi MG, hi all,

I have not been having a good day today. In fact I had one of those days that are best forgotten. I hate crying - but today I did cry (unfortunately while on the phone to OH) nand I cried last night. What got me upset for some reason was that I wrote a letter to the Universe - it did make me realise things that I would prefer to keep to myself - because they simply sound too naff. My letter to the Universe also showed me that in reality I am not as shallow as I seem sometimes.

Now feeling a bit better after a short nap. Can't wait to be home.

One positive thing was that I decided that today I am not going to the Smithsonia Institute as planned - I will visit it with OH and Little Boy.

    Keep well.

*Hugs* Firewalker - it's always really hard to look at yourself like this, or so I've found. I've discovered things able myself that have not been easy to swallow - but also positive things too.

Hope you feel better after a sleep xxx

    (((hugs)))) Firewalker.
I found that when I was doing the springboard workbook, I cried a lot. I think that if you are crying then you are releasing all of that negativity that has held you back. Stripping away all those layers and head tapes that you have built up over the years and realising that the "beliefs" that you have are really other peoples is a hard thing to do. If you are crying then I say you are pretty much back to who you are! So cry with relief and start soaring. Hope that you get back to Smithsonian soon with your OH and little boy
