Clairewop, I am going to head over to your facebook page now :)

I mentioned this on Pania's diary but I run an Art and Crafts blog and I ask people to do little interviews (just a list of about 10 questions I mail over to you) where you can tell us about how you got started and then I can link back to your website, Facebook page etc.

I can't link to my blog on here as I have only recently delurked ;) but please pm if you want to have a look or would be interested. Anyone who has any sort of craft business please feel free to do the same.

ok will do when i have finished the website

  • Hi MG - it's hard keeping up these days.....

Anyhow, have PMd you my home & work e-mail address - home is better but work for urgent.

And when I think about it - there are several hundred people in my work & several hundreds in DH's work so flyers are no problem -and dropping stuff off at Haggerston when we go down to the caravan is another market. And that's without even much thought.....

Evening All, What a chatty bunch you all are. I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of you who sent me good vibes today. They worked I was very calm. The news, however was not what I had hoped for. Unfortunately I have not been accepted for the severance scheme as my job is irreplaceable! I was (as scousers say) gutted! this morning, I could hardly speak to my boss, not least because I had several hundred freshers students trying to pinch all my leaflets. a 2.5 hour journey home has helped me put things into perspective and hey, I have not lost anything (especially my job) and you know what they say, its easier to gain employment whilst in employment. I think this is just giving me the spur on to do other things though. I will just have to take a little longer as I cant throw all of my energies at it just yet.
I will read back over the thread as I just scanned the first few posts of the day. I am sure that there will be lots of catching up to do. Oh and then I will check the blog.

Sorry to hear things didn't work out quite how you hoped but another trusim that fits here might be 'we get what we need not what we want' :D. It sounds like you have a Plan B and the energy and committment to work towards that so - good luck
