Firewalker - hope today is better. Jetlag, and being alone in a hotel room on business don't normally help anyone feel on top form, so it might explain being more emotional than normal too.0

scaredy_cat wrote: »Claire, thinking about giving vouchers to people, will the site do a promo code box on the payment page? Then you can print off a page of vouchers, cut then up with a code like 'bat10' or'xmas 15' so that you can specify the type of discount.
A A4 page could easily be designed with 10 vouchers on it so they would be small enough to put in the boxes.
How would I do that with my website though? not sure whether i have anywhere to put a promo code in the checkout?
Will have to look into that, as for advertising on the front page here  I'm too much of a coward to ask!!!
OMG another sale too!!!
Dh said i've sold more this week than i've done in the last few festivals!!!Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -

I am glad I wasn't the only one. Pania I hope that you enjoy every single moment and remember it in times to come. Funny how it takes us a while to appreciate our Dad. I had some very tough times with my Dad growing up. He took on me and my sister and loved us as his own but I never appreciated that until I was much older. Wish I had spent days with him. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. I think you had better add me to the networking list too.
Although I think it is a brilliant idea I have some doubts about whether I have the confidence to approach shopkeepers etc.
I am happy to push your study skills course though. I understand 10 is the minimum number for the course but do you have a maximum number in mind?0 -
Claire, I have been looking through your website with my DD (age16) she is neither emo or goth (although her sister has her moments of reading the Catcher in the Rye whilst listening to My Chemical Romance) however her friends tend to be quirky, unusual types who like to be different. DD could see them wearing some of your things (the bat earrings in particular) and thought the prices were good for teenagers but that the website wasn’t very cool and the name in particular was a bit twee. She couldn’t see herself saying “I’ve seen this really cool jewellery site; it’s called ‘Charming Trinkets’”
What we were wondering was if you could design a second site, a bit darker and edgier aimed at the teenage market?
[FONT="]I know it would be a lot of work and you’ve probably got a lot on your hands at the moment so feel free to either shelve this idea for a later time or forget it entirely[/FONT]0 -

Ok any Input and ideas are valueble, what would your daughter call the site? and what do you mean by darker? If it means generating more sales etc i'll have a go.
Also what sort of jewellery?Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Hi MG and everyone - not up to speed just yet but count me in re. leaftlets. I have distributed leaflets in the past and agree you have to think about who your target market is to get the best results /response.
So will be able to put some in the right places hopefully.
Virtual PA - will keep thinking re. this one and see if I can come up with any ideas.
Still wading through the decluttering process but as I work 2 jobs I don't have a vast amount of time but I will get there.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Clairewop, the necklace I ordered has arrived and is wonderful. I am going to save it as a present for my sister in law.
Just a thought, Standard necklaces always sit too high on me - is it possible to ask for a longer length or could you supplier extenders which could be purchased alongside at additional cost?
Liking the idea of a second site - I am a bit of a rocker and you might make jewellery that rockers, goths and emos like, which may be more suited to a second site with a different target audience. Black red purple and silver stuff is popular in the crowd that go to gigs with me. Though I do have a more "delicate" side which is why I love the snowman earrings so much.0
