Just had a look at Claire's website, lovely things & will be back once I have thought about the Christmas lists :D

I recently bought a dress in an unusual colour for a wedding and managed to find a shop to make me a necklace to co-ordinate and help tie in my shoes and bag (Cost me £40 ). You do say that you make bespoke pieces but maybe you could make more of this by saying that you can colour match to outfits or have the necklace just the right length or shape for the neckline. You really can charge a premium for this service.

Or things to co-ordinate with bridesmaid dresses which can double up as thank you presents.

The wedding market can be huge.

Very long story short: Mike came on MSE a desperate man, living in awful circumstances because a builder gutted his home and then ran away with the money. He had lost his job and his way in life. The support on here got him fired up enough to take action & he managed to get DIY SOS Big Build in to finish his whole house.

Mike's Mob are MSE'ers who helped him on the way.

He he I don't mind doing colour matches, I will do commissions, but I find it a real challenge to make something to a specification given, I just like having a pile of beads on the table and seeing what I can make.

Are the prices better on the website now?

I didn't see the prices before but I thought the earings looked cheap, bracelets in the right ball park for what I currently pay for something a bit different - £15-£20.

Honestly the £40 necklace was a BIG spend for me, but it was for a very special occasion :o
