How come Mike is also called Lisa

I think it gets explained in the thread somewhere along the line, but it is a source of great hilarity that some early readers thought they were helping a woman.

He was so down he didn't expect anyone to read or even answer so it didn't much matter what he called himself.

Good luck today Cherisong, hope you get the answer you want :D

    Morning MG and All

Cherisong send vibes to Swansea - good luck.

Claire the prices look good. I used to work for Monsoon Accessorize and the stuff was overpriced carp! I would rather buy something original even if it costs more.

I think the universe may have sent me what I wished for but I'm too nervous to check. It was sent three times already this year and taken away again. I will stop babbling now.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi all,

Had my head down today. Felt good to be flexing my design muscles again, instead of pursuing displacement activities, but I ache now :rotfl:So, so glad you like yours Claire.

Groatie queen - one thing that occurred to me when people were posting re bubble kits is that I think they are quite easy to improvise. Wire coat hanger or similar for the hoop and just the right mix of water and washing up liquid. Of course it will involve extensive experimentation to get it JUST right, how awful :D

    Positive vibes to all,

    TGR :)

I thought of something else to add to the flyers in the night but I cannot remember now :(

Clairewop - Just wondered how many you make of each piece? It's just people are normally willing to pay more if they know only a limited number are produced. e.g. Are they one off's, or limited editions of up to 100 for example. Printing little limited edition slips and signing them could be worth the effort, you'd normally put 1/100 or 2/100 etc on the slip. The smaller the edition the more people are willing to pay extra.

For big soap bubbles you need to add something extra besides the detergent, found this recipe here:

I try to only make one of anything no diplicates, if I've still got beads left from that design I will use the beads but put different ones with them IYSWIM.

    Morning all,

Well today is the day!!!!!!!! Will my life change dramatically from today or do I still need to work a different way around. Will be back tonight to let you all know. The decision is already made, just getting the phone call whilst standing on an information stand in a freshers fayre with no chance of a break so I would be very grateful to feel lots of wonderful vibes flying across the atmosphere to Swansea Uni to help me cope with whatever the decision is.
    Thanks

oohh your not that far from me then :)

If it was me I'd put something to that effect on the website, most people love the idea of having something unique.

I find myself looking at jewellery now and saying oohh thats expensive!! I sell handcrafted cheaper than that.

I went to a wedding in Aug (s.i.l got married) and forgot my jewellery so my f.i.l took me to town to get some, went into peacocks and picked up a ring, bracelet necklace and earring that was in the sale and it was still £19 I refused to pay it :) went to primark and got a necklace braqcelet and earrings for £6.50.

Perhaps thats why I keep my prices down, because I think people won't buy if its too expensive.
