Evening everyone :hello:
I finally made a start on the challengesI'm still struggling with the early ones, but the last few have been quite easy I think.
My purse was already empty but I vow to use it more often, and keep a tidy purse at all times.
As for having some childish fun, I have to admit we do that a lot. We dont have much at the moment, but one thing we're good at is having fun. Plus, I work with small children, so I get to play every day and get paid to do it :T
Just finished reading The Secret. Wow is all I can say to that. Gosh it makes you think differently doesnt it.
I treated myself to a shiny new note book and a set of gel pens yesterday, but DD has snaffled MG's book and is loving it. I'll hopefully get it back soon and start working through it.
I'll start Feel the Fear when I go to bedIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Hi everyone. Sending positive vibes to you all.
Hypno, your buyer is out there, and with all of our positive energy, you will be moving house soon.
I think I've had my first nudge from the Universe this week.
I was offered an interview for a job I'd applied for a few weeks ago, arranged the time off work (told them dd2 had a hospital appointment). However as this week went I started to have doubts about the job as it seemed like a sideways step not an upwards one. Having hummed and hahed I told a friend on Friday morning that I couldn't decide whether I should go to the interview or not. Anyway at about 3.45 in the afternoon dd2 text me, which read, 'Mam you need to take Monday off, I have an appointment with the consultant on Mon at 2.35'. Somehow my interview issue had been resolved for me. Later that same evening, on a spur of the moment decision I was looking on the Jobcentre website. Lo and behold I found the company I work for advertising for staff for a new branch. This is my step up, the promotion I have worked for and have been promised for over 12 months. My manager knew nothing about it,. The universe has given me the opportunity I have been secretly desiring. Fingers crossed for me please.
MG after eventually getting my hands on your book (prised from dd2's hands) I have been decided to stop procrastinating and sign up to do an OU Law degree.
You guys are so inspiring. Its strange but since reading The Secret I am walking round with a feeling of butterflies in my stomach. I feel like something big is going to happen but I don't know what.

however out of five teachers i have got six kids ready to do the course (their kids) so what they have asked for is an email that they can forward to their contacts to try and contact more kids iyswim?
so we do it by the back door - which is fine

Quite a long time ago, I was a volunteer at a Victorian/rarebreeds/educational farm. As we were getting ready to open to the public, I was given the task of phoning all the Local Education Authorities in the country to outline our work and the daily/residential visits/courses we were offering. I then had to persuade them to take leaflets to send out to the schools in their area. I was also able to offer taster visits for teachers. It worked really well and we were booked out quickly. A similar route would work for you (contact LEA's, get them to send out your literature, offer courses for the teachers).
Positive vibes to Hypno, Kittikins, Bomechina and all on this journey to a better future

The purchaser is out there and my supercharged vibes are with you......
I think it's important that you know the lovely purchaser is about to make you the offer you need....the power to achieve this is inside of you, it's all about getting onto the same frequency as your desire...the law of attraction kicks in when you act as if you are receiving it now.
So, be move ready - pack as much as you can into boxes (a la macgirl), get that mail re-direction organised, look into van-hire/removal firms costs, let your cleaner know she'll be relocating her services;), tell EVERYONE your intention. This is real and it's happening now.
I look forward to reading your new house posts!

Yep, I've already put my request on for your new buyers Hypno, they're on their wayI wouldn't redirect your mail *just* yet though

Untill recently I did give up after one rejection - and than went away and to lick my bleading soul.
No more. Bring it on...

MG I agree with this in the "If at first you don't succeed..." vein.
So THIS school doesn't allow flyers/advertising but PLENTY of others do. My DD's school is very "Do the right thing" but we often have leaflets for soccer schools/tennis clubs etc in the book bags - granted it's only an infants school, but I'd be happy to make enquiries - plus I know a few teachers in other schools I could ask....
It's fab catching up with everyone's news - such am uplifting read :T I too watch clouds, I am still a dreamer, leaf kicker and run away from the waves person - though not as often as I'd like, so will make some dates in my diary (when I get one)
Well, I'd just like to share with you that I completed the Great North Run yesterday :j:j:j It's been an ambition of mine for years and as I turned 40 last month it feels like a good start to my *Life Beginning*My time was 2.23 (unofficially it was 2.12 but bladder stops = 11 mins - grrrr ) but no matter, because I enjoyed myself so much and it rounded off a pretty perfect weekend as we got the keys to our new house on Friday!!! Yaaayyyy! :T

WoW, a weekend spending decluttering and now I need to read tons to catch up!
Macgirl, well done doing the Great North Run yest, your timing is great! Hypno, sending positive vibes, I'm sure someone will buy your house soon!
We bought a new built as well over the summer, though we're renting it out (as it is in a small town and not moving there till we're debt free), it's not for everyone but I can see us being happy there. Not to mention that the rooms are really bigger than the ones we have in our rented, Edwardian property.
Right, better go and check the new challenge!0 -
Have a good week everyone. Thank you for the positive thinking.
