I have a violin that you are welcome to if it is the right size. It is in storage at home (AKA in the garage surrounded by boxes) and it belonged to my stepbrother (who is 25 years younger than me, so it is unlikely to be full size, and am sure it is bigger than half size) and is just sat there in its case gathering dust.

I will check it out when I get home, and will let you know.

• Hey memorygirl
I have just been having a look thru your thread, and must read it from start to finish (should take me a while and lots of excuses for tea breaks!! ;) ) I hope you know you are somewhat of a MSE celebrity as I was directed here from the MF board! ...
your thread is pretty inspiring :T, I do love this site- full of people making the best of situations that otherwise could be quite hair-raising! I stumbled upon the site just before ending up out of work and have managed to survive the last several months with literally my last paycheck (no benefits, long story) ...if you had said to me a year ago this is where I would be I would never have believed it or believed it would be okay to be where I am right now, and yet I have learnt so much that wont be undone even when back earning...it is so helpful to have a community of people all trying to make ends meet/get out of debts/ manage on little money , as well as do some fairly amazing things like paying off mortgages early and having good savings!

Am very interested in the mind-mapping stuff ... in fact myself and one of my friends every few years use it to look at where we are both going, what we want from life etc.. I will have to go back and read the thread properly and then I will make some sensible comments!

so I will be reading your thread for lots of inspiration (already copied down the hummus recipie ..mmmm...) and also remember to look into where our nearest LIDL is!

anyway, just wanted to say:wave: and that I shall be reading back through with interest

Ooh, just look at the universe coming together to find violins and new jobs! And hooray to the people who bought another 15 of your books! :T :T

Had a good think about my perfect week on the train yesterday - and realised it sounded rather like my current weeks! :rotfl: I wonder whether I too am lacking imagination? Or whether it's because I've actually already spent a lot of time this year setting goals, thinking about what I wanted and didn't want, and have got rid of a few things from my life, so it's really not far off being perfect?

And - I work 2 days a week at the minute in my paid work, and intend to aim for 3 or 4 after Christmas. Yesterday my colleague on the same project said she wanted to drop a day but couldn't because of the work we needed to do - so I've offered to do her day :T We'll see if it works out, but it will suit us both nicely. AND someone we met for a meeting has set us off thinking about a project idea we're going o apply for funding for :T

So all in all a good day! :j
• plusnet don't do up here - and no cable service here either so only the choice of two.

so taking into account - new line installation, phone and broadband bundle its about £5 per month cheaper with talktalk - although i have 14 days to change my mind, or 30 days after installation.

lets see what they can do.

Forgive me for being nosey... but I used your postcode on Plus Net's website and they said you'd have speeds of up to 7mb. You do need a BT line though....

Anyway - with "the universe" in charge you'll have a positive Talk Talk experience anyway :) x

yeah that's the problem - if i get BT to put in a line I am tied to their line rental for up to 18 months on top of abroadband bundle.

talk talk can put a line in and i can pay them rental hence how it works out cheaper.

did that make sense??

It certainly does - and it's a pain in the a***!

How long is TT's minimum contract - I was pretty sure that's 18 months too :)

How exciting - real super zippy quick BB for MG! Yay!

You'll miss that little dongle ;)

Now, I'm off to poke about in the post room for my book (you did post it didn't you? x)
• It is very nice to read about the Universe doing wonderful things for you MG and others. So good. Restores my faith that the Universe can bring nice things to people.

Sorry, not on top form at the moment. I have had a dreadful day and although I can find positives from it (my to do list at work is almost manageable, and then I have no excuse BUT to work on my professional portfolio in order to get my accounting qualification completed properly once and for all), I do wish the Universe wouldn't send them to me like this. A little bit of !!!! each day I can cope with. All of it at once, I can't. Sigh.

Supposed to be heading to the pool tonight to plough up and down swimming - feel like going home and curling up and ignoring all the housework that needs doing and re-reading The Secret. Again!

Hope to feel better tomorrow.

I think that is exactly what you should do my copy only arrived today but from the few pages I have managed to read you need to be very careful about what you are asking for so I think a reread would be an excellent idea.
