Memorygirls - Make Do and Mend

@hypno I agree with you, of course it's possible but you say it's taken you 3 years (that's pretty amazing:T) but 50 days:eek: I just can't understand how somebody can go from benefits to £100 or so an hour in 50 days. But if it is possible I'd really like to know how.
Of course there are plenty of success stories out there, think JK Rowling but I'm sure she spent longer than 50 days writing the books before the cash started to flow in.
@Memorygirl I wouldn't worry too much about the figures, unless Mr Big has his maths wrong (unlikely:D) he must have some sort of plan to make it happen.
I wonder if he plans on sending his messages at 7 every evening? Then we could all come on here at every day to help out (making us all more efficient because we aren't spending all day here:rotfl:)Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Hello Memory Girl and everyone else...
I have just [STRIKE]wasted[/STRIKE] invested the last 2 days reading the entire thread. I am inspired, scared, excited, shocked, worried, motivated and out of expressive words!
I just wonder MG if you have any idea how different you sound (and probably are) since the beginning of this mammoth adventure? Although eloquent and amusing the whole way through, you now ooze a confidence which is exciting and will take you through this next set of [STRIKE]scary[/STRIKE] adventures!!
I would love you read your books, please let me know where I can get it from. It's not in Waterstones. Why?
If you need anything (from any of us I am sure), then ask - you deserve it! (I would say ask the universe, but I am not sure I can comprehend that yet!)
Keep going, and count me in
(I've always thought of myself as quite good with money, not in debt etc, but I've never counted my old student loans or my mortgage - I am going to from today, and I will get rid of them using (some) of your techniques. If I am allowed, I will make your adventure mine too...
GO MG, GO xx)
BTW I am follower no. 75 on your other blog

People who do speaking/training do get paid a lot and you have the books to sell in conjunction with that so that does make sense. It probably involves a lot of travelling though which is difficult with children.
We need Mr Big to clarify something--does he want you earning £86 an hour in 50 days or just back at work in 50 days with the money to come later:huh:Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

i'm pretty sure he has shortened the curve to 50 days after talking to me and realising that i already have stuff developed and nearly ready to go - so in essence i have spent the last two years since bubs was born pondering and tinkering and refining bits n pieces. of course to actually go and roll it all out in 5o days is pretty darn scary - i haven't even got a recent photograph!!!!
Of course there are plenty of success stories out there, think JK Rowling but I'm sure she spent longer than 50 days writing the books before the cash started to flow in.
oooohh!!! i hope i have a smidge of her courage, a drop of her luck, a sprinkle of her talent and a whiff of some fo her money in the future.

.................. i hope he has, cos i'm fluttering a little atthe moment.

that sounds a really sensible idea - i'm going to email and ask that we post at 7 every night when possible so that peeps don'thave to keep running to and fro.

Well, my hourly rate is £126.50. Holy carp. I can tell you right now, I am not getting that at the moment. No way. If I had stayed in the private sector, then maybe. But not if i want to continue my work in public service. It is just NOT going to happen. Especially with the Comprehensive Spending Review going on. I have just worked out my hourly rate on my takehome pay at the moment. That comes out at £12.34. I have £114.14 per hour to make up somehow. MG, I'm another one who would love to read your book, please tell us where we can get it.
I also need a spare day to read this thread, I've read the first 10 pages or so, but have no idea how you've got to where you are now in such a short amount of time.
Recent events sound so exciting, I wish you every success in all that you do. Not sure I have any abilities that could help, but by all means shout, you never knowIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

7pm for us probably works with the time difference where he is too.
I bet he's sitting at home or in his office and laughing at all our comments and worries @MrBig.
Oh and another question for him? Hope he has a plan for the rest of us who can read books but haven't written any:rotfl:Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
