OMG Memory Girl that is some challenge - I have looked at my figures and they are huge I am feeling a little bit daunted to say the least but meanwhile anything I can do to help you reach your goal count me in.

DTxx (In a state of shock)

Sorry can't post on the blog don't have any of the required profiles but my first thoughts after OMG were

Oh well that proves it was right to give up mystery shopping because I decided that my time was worth more than that but nobody round here is going to pay me my hourly rate so the only option would be to set up my own business but therein lies the problem what the bloody hell can I do - suggestions on a postcard please to desperate DT :(

DT - I'm in the same state of shock as you (& I only doubled the income, not quadrupled it)

OK, I've just doubled my final figure (comes out muc the same as if I'd quadrupled figure numbre one)....

I need to go & lie down I'm laughing so much :D

@Memorygirl Do you know what you'll be working at to earn this money?

I'm a new suscriber so I'm not fully up to date here but you need to be self employed so that work fits around the children right? Wondering if this job involves the books that already exist/writing new ones or if Mr Big is sending you out to look for a job?

The hourly figures work out pretty high so I'm having trouble getting my head around how a brand new business could make that much money so quickly?

Today sounds like one of those you'll remember forever too:)

At the side it has me as hypno, but on my comment it says "butterflies"......:rotfl:

Are we basing the hourly rate on our (current income + 10%) x 4?

If so, that is going to be one big number.......

i think i've come to the same conclusion that you guys have - that no-one locally is going to pay me that kind of money.

but i can see that i need to widen my horizons - because there are other places in the world where they would and other things than a "proper job" that would get me there.

must confess i'ma bit freaked though.

mind you i get his point about the "danger amount" - it would be really hard to get supermotivated if i was feeling ok about my income.

Are you all quadrupling just your personal income or your household income? The PSB covers us both but so far I have done the quadrupled figure just for me :D

OH is self employed already so his income wildly fluctuates. At the beginning of the numbers I forgot to multiply the monthly income by 12 to get a year. The hourly rate came out at £4.50 :rotfl:
