    Thanks Firewalker and everyone else.

Well in the spirit of a zealot, I 'gently' called my manager a Scrooge and suggested a way forward, in the spirit of the story, but she took major umbridge and got her husband, the MD, to fire me on the spot.

    Must learn tact.

Since then I've been having a ball, but I need to knuckle down and earn some money, so I will be following Mr Big and I have my glamorous frock and high heeled shoes ready for Thursday, did you e-bay yours ;). Flyladying all day tomorrow too - clearing the decks.

    xx

Sorry to hear about job but you will do just fine without it.

As to me - never managed to sell anything on e-bay and suspect the Universe is telling me something. You are probably right - better stick to philosophy and social science and become a public intellectual; this way I can do some good and affect things.

Bottom line - now I have 33 pairs of shoes (bought another pair of basketball shoes in Sofia).

Hope DS2 is not so grumpy today, my DS fell from a wall when he was small and ended up with an egg shaped bump.

Will be reading with intrest to see what Thursday brings.

Also, I suspect that after this cleaning franzy you will need to get someone to do that - Mr. Big said that this is the clean up which I doubt means that you should have your house cleaned for the forseable future - only that it is not you who should do it. You will be focusing on the two main things - boys and adventure.

I can go to bed happy.

    Firewalker

sorry to hear about little boy - hope he is ok when you get him up this morning.

its funny - but this intense "autumn cleaning" does feel kind of final - it also forces you to really look at what is in your environment and get rid of what doesn't work for you.

I'd be happy to get my cleaning down to a few minutes per day a la flylady - but to know we are financially able to actually have a cleaner would be luxury indeed.

i think by thursday i will have run out of cleaning as a "displacement activity" - no more excuses not to do the stuff that needs doing.

ds1 is off school today with a cold - just had the chat that a day off doesn't mean a day playing computer games, it means a day resting in bed with a book and lots of quiet. i find after a day of "bed-rest" no matter how poorlyhe thinks he is he is itching to get back to school.

ps i have an email from HIM - it says not to open it until i have "taken care of business" - which i guess means posting off todays book orders.

    I WILL BE BACK

Morning All, and what a truly fine morning it is today. I wonder what pleasures everybody is up to.
MG, now that the blog is up and running, do you think that people should be posting on there? Or are you waiting to see what the next challenge might be? Perhaps you could set up a page where everybody could list their name and their 100 day challenge as a place that we could exchange help and ideas with each other to achieve that challenge. Just a thought and you can tell me to butt out if you like.
I have sent you a PM, let me know if you dont get it and I will resend the details.
