Hi MG
Did you manage to find any knobs for son's desk ? If not I have 11 sat here from some old drawers that would probably fit the bill. They are round about an inch deep and just under 1 inch across. Let me know if you would like them.

MG - I hope that you are settled yourself now after knowing that DS will be ok. You take care of yourself shock can be a horrid thing to cope with. As for wafer bribes - Mmmm I used to love those as a kid, now I wonder how many Es are in them, but hey one is ok right?
Butterflydawn - welcome (back?) it is lovely to see you. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Glad DS2 is OK - let him wear his bruise with pride - hopefully it'll be his last - except he's a boY so it most definately won't be.
Does Mr Big know what he has done - we're all suddenly Stepford Wife busy trying to clear the decks for Thursday (personally I think DH might have had a word in his ear as it's the only way I would do the ironing/washing/log chopping etc).
And also, in preparation for Thursday I've printed off my 100 day challenge & will also try to start to make inroads into that.

righto!!!!!!!!!!
someone (and you know who you are) was on the edinburgh - glasgow train this morning about 11am.
how do I know that??? Because i've just been contacted by the training manager of one of the big accountancy firms in glasgow asking if i can help them get their trainees better able to manage their workload.
apparently you were reading the book and she noted down the title and the authors name and tracked me down in cyberspace.
so thank you whoever you are - it seems like the universe is conspiring to play along with us on this isn't it.
