Progress not Perfection0 -
had a busy morning.
My TADA list currently stands at
got kids up - we slept in
breakfast and packed lunch done
school run
cleaned livingroom
cleaned bathroom
found all 10 library books that were due back
washed up all dishes
processed all book orders
posted all book orders
took library books back and chose new ds2 stories
then.....................
walked around the corner with ds2 in his buggy and the buggy got whipped by the wind sideways into the road. ds2 now has a egg sized lump on his forehead and a major grump.
we are back home now and he is munching on his lunch - neither up nor down (my heart is still racing though). i will obviously keep an eye open for drowsiness or if he starts acting strange but, to be honest i think we had a lucky escape.
one of my neighbours is s nurse so i will catch her in 15 minutes when she is home for lunch - which will be hours quicker than sitting in A&E - although if she sends us up there then we will of course go.
think i need a brandy though.
backto the cleaning for another hour, then pick up the violin teacher and take her to the school.
then - well probably more cleaning and tidying. 4 days to clean and organise for this project? well by hook or by crook it will have to be done.

Gosh, a lucky escape indeed, - I am sure the bump will just be superficial, although maybe a drop of calpol wouldn't go amiss. And of course, you are doing the right thing by looking out for signs of drowsiness, or squiffy eyes, etc so nothing more really that you can do.
With things like this, it is your nerves as a mummy that take more of a pounding than any part of DS! I remember years ago when DD was about 8, she was dragged across an icy car park by a car that lost control on the ice.......thankfully not a mark on her, and she had forgotten all about it by the end of the day.....but even now, I still shudder at the thought, and others who witnessed it still mentioned how horrifying it was to watch!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
oh no, poor DS2, what a horror
Virtual brandy coming your way x

Hope that DS is ok MG. Scary what Mother Nature can do at times.
Just tried to post a comment on the blog, but it does not want to work (or i'll be repeating myself all over the place) but wanted to wish you well and to offer my help of photographer if needed. Am a long way from you geographically, but sat next to you cheering you on in cyber land!
