    Hi

The book arrived today and it looks just what DD2 needs. The Tony Buzan book on mindmaps for kids was a bit too basic but this will really help

    Thanks so much
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Okay, so things seem to happen when they're linked to this thread :D.

Please tell this baby to get a move on!!!! If you could all send happy, birthing thoughts down to Yorkshire, it would be very much appreciated. I have given up on the fresh flowers and have now bought a pot plant instead :rotfl:

    That is all :D:cool:

Inspirational stuff as always! Still so impressed MG with how you turned the ctx situation round. I had to phone them this morning, a tiny little part of me died while I was on hold listening to that god-awful muzak :o

    Thank you :o

I had a hospital appointment yesterday as I was officially 14 days overdue. They checked babe was fine (scored full marks, is this my first proud mummy moment! :D) and they revised my date to the one I'd told them was right all along so I'm now only officially 8 days over. It just feels like it's never gonna happen, I've not had any signs at all!

Yay I got mine too. Thanks MG and it's nice to put a face to a name.
I briefly showed my DD the book as I don't want to pressurise her, but she was looking at it -where I had placed it prominently on the bedside table;). She seems very interested and didn't spout the usual self doubting she usually does when learning is mentioned.
    Phase 1 accomplished!

On an aside note I do feel sorry for your children having a world memory champion for a mum- How are they ever expected to get away with anything:rotfl:

Good luck with whatever new venture get s you to your end goal

    love 'n' rainbows

I can't wait to get home and see if my books have arrived, very excited :)

I've started my own diary on DFW and am making the most of some of the ideas people have put up on here - like seeing how far I can stretch £100, writing up a money tree to pay back my £3,750 debt to my parents in a year. I've started re-reading this thread and others to glean more ideas to help me create the life I want rather than feel trapped and stressed in the one I was in just before going away on holiday.

Took some time to really THINK rather than just react to life and am going to keep working on myself and my fabulicious life with DD to make it the best I can :)

Hopefully the book is going to help me get proactive in other ways too. I want to go home now!!

My books arrived safely.....thank you soooooo much MG.....good to put a face to a name :D

I can't wait for DD to get home from 6th form and present her with her copy. No sooner had I typed that than she rang the bell, ordering at its best.

I do feel that a blog or a web site would be good.

    Love and hugs :grouphug:
