Memorygirls - Make Do and Mend

It just occurred to me - they might want to talk.
Don't do this unless you have neutral witnesses & even then I would think twice about it.
DH's attacker turned up outside the drive to get his address & sent a 10 page letter of apology to try to get charges dropped & to help him keep his job. We didn't contact him but did report letter to the police.
Unfortunately I was in while he parked outside the drive & even though I'm the size of a brick shoitehouse (as you well know) & can defend myself I was apprehensive to say the least. I didn't even let the dogs out in case he realised someone was in.
I'm not scaremongering but please be aware. The world is such a different place from when I was growing up  (not that long ago either).Debts 07/12/2021

If it's been on Eastenders then the Universe "Mall" must be an Argos catalogue:pFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

It is destiny - although I don't watch Eastenders. But I am reading Dan Brown (The Lost Symbol) and guess what it is about? About thoughts having mass - which actually means that if thoughts have mass they also have gravity. In other words, the LAW OF ATTRACTION.
I am not going mad then, something is happening.
MG,hope that you have managed to deal with the unpleasant situation with this horrible guy with thoughtfulness and wisdom. Sometimes life sends hard choices - and yes it can be simple but as someone already said, if simple life will lose its salt. Whatever you decided I am sure is the right thing for you. I am the wrong person to advice on this one - I would have had his balls on a plate and served them to him for dinner (but again, I do come from the Balkans and am here and absorbing the spirit of my people).

Hi MG and everyone else
I had to stop lurking again to share my experience today. You have all really got me into thinking about the universe providing if you think positively etc.
I only had £4 to last me a week but I wasn't worried about it and continued to think that the universe will provide for me. This evening, my OH treated me to a Chinese. The Chip & Pin system was down in the takeaway so he sent me next door with his card to get cash out. I drew £20 out and before it dispensed the money I noticed that there was already £10 sitting there.
I believed that the universe would provide and I now have £14 to last me the week :T. I have been truely converted now.

So many posts - thank you everyone, because without this sounding like an Oscar's acceptance speech, you are too numerous to mention.
So state of play this evening is.................
Local Bobby came in this evening for a "chat"- he made a point of leaving his hat on the wall outside my door, stressing that he was not here "officially" just taking his tea-break with a family friend.:D
He understands that I want the best for the school - but knows I came from an abusive family (real Dad) and that for me violence is a dealbreaker.
So after listenning to me, he agrees that to do nothing is NOT an option. What is needed is for HTH to deal with his escalating anger issues and to not be in the school until this has happened. The best thing would be for him to take some time out in India with his Sathia Sai colleagues and seek some professional help through them.
Should I chose to make a formal complaint, they would send 2 in a car to pick him up for formal questionning at the station.Because there are three other independant witnesses the chances are they would prosecute anyways - so he would be released, but would be unable to leave the country (and he's not confident that HTH would ever get help to address his issues with violence and anger).
It would then be on his CRB record and obviously his time at the school - particularily working with the older kids on the residential programme - would be at an end.
This afternoon (after ClootiesMum made her mercy visit :rotfl:) I spent some time really reflecting on what happened and I truly feel a great deal of sympathy for him - he is very frustrated, angry and stuck in being a stroppy 13 year old. Having said that, he is an adult and must now learn to truly take the consequences of his actions.
I have even accepted that should the HT decide that she must support her husband and leave, then I will trust that it is for a very good reason and the school will find a way to keep on going.
I feel calm about this decision - knowing that because I have had a chat with the police I can go straight back to make a complaint if the HT decides NOT to deal proactively with the situation. That of course will effectively remove him from the school anyway.
So, I will wait this weekend for a phone call from the HT and take it from there.
BtW I have written a full account of what happened and got my solicitor to sign and date it and throw it in her safe (just in case) - so I think i have covered my behind. she sides with you guys that i should have called the police and be damned - but i have to deal with this in the best interests of the school (but believe me, not at the expense of endangering any of the kids or teachers)
One way or another, he has to be dealt with. He crossed a line and that has some harsh consequences.
So we wait to find what the weekend will bring - hopefully tickets to India IYSWIM????
