Unfortunately I have to agree with LittleMoo somewhat some people on here are buying a trolly full of shopping then only paying 12p which can only raise suspicions from staff who then stop others from benefitting also from a glitch, instead of being a little sensible and allowing a few more to benefit as they have.0
-
i would agree BUT even after the suspicions being arose from staff the deal is still going and the shelves were restocked over 24hours since the glitch was discovered. So you really can't complain if others buy lots. This is different from the "forever love" cd glitch as they weren't restocking, once shelf was empty that was it. but with this they are, so 1st come 1st serve me thinks...0

What is wrong with some MSE'ers? When something like this comes up, if we all took advantage of it in a SENSIBLE way then there'd be enough stock for everyone to benefit and it's much more likely to be unnoticed by the stores.
Instead, some people decide they're going to be completely selfish and take all the stock which leaves none for others and alerts the shop. That shop then alerts others and pretty soon no-one else can benefit.
I mean, come on, some of you have bought over 100 cartons and then joke that you don't know what to do with them all - how selfish can you get?
Rant over.
And before you ask, yes I have just been to Tesco and I bought 6 cartons, despite there being many more on the shelf.
Both sides of this have valid points, and both sides always come up when there is such a good glitch like this. Some will be selfish, some will be selfless, most of us will be inbetween.
If people do want to do something useful with their excess tomatoes, no doubt there is a homeless shelter nearby which would be EXTREMELY grateful for your donation...I know mine was a few years ago when I had a few items of frozen beef to pass on.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Tesco Folkestone, no special offer SEL, no stocks of basil or the other one (?) on the shelves, so took a chance with the chilli- and it worked. We bought 3 lots, (some to be saved for our veggie DD) and left some on the shelves for others.
Thanks opOnly dead fish go with the flow...0 -
Anyone know if it is still working in Milton Keynes, Wolverton or Bletchley stores?
ThanksOscar CharliEE
Spend Lots
Save More0 -
I'll admit when l have got the tomatoes i have left some cartons on the shelves for others, though my goodwill didn't extend to telling shoppers in the same aisle as me. I thought well i would rather MSE/HDUK people " in the know " got the rest than other shoppers, as it's only fair.
Also, me and my partner are on a tight budget and literally every night eat turkey/pasta/sauce as it's very cheap and can lots in advance and freeze. ALL of this pasta sauce i have bought will be used and will last us a good 2-3months now, it has majorly helped the budget. Tesco should look at it this way, it gives good PR, people will more likely shop at Tesco and the quicker people save money and get out of debt through glitches like this, the quicker they'll go back to Tesco to spend money when they do have some0 -

Thanks
No idea about bletchley. I went to wolverton yesterday and it was still working, though lots of people have been hitting wolverton so may be no stock on the shelf, will have to look. Good luck0 -
Nothing left in Tesco Bursledon and Whitely village. There is a big gap on the shelves between tomato tins.0

Do any Cheltenham locals know about the local availability of these? My oh's son is veggie and living on a tight budget so I let him know about it but I'm concerned now that I may have sent him on a wild goose chase!July- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments0

The offer is still working online, though obviously if they don't have them in stock or pretend like they don't lol then it won't come off your total when deliverd
Not sure if you can refuse a delivery?Would you destroy something perfect in order to make it beautiful?0
