Dundee Kingsway and South road stores had none today. Kingsway looked like they'd sold out and south road had cleared their shelves - no labels, just a big space where they should have been :(.

    It's only a game

Do any Cheltenham locals know about the local availability of these? My oh's son is veggie and living on a tight budget so I let him know about it but I'm concerned now that I may have sent him on a wild goose chase!

Based upon 1pm stock levels, they had sold out at Tewkesbury Road superstore, still had about 24 of the Garlic & Olive Oil in town Centre Metro, and I hadn't checked Hewlett Road Express as assumed they wouldn't stock them. I left 4 for the next person in the Tesco Metro in Tewkesbury. Don't know about Gloucester or Cirencester!

    Quote from wendyak on HUKD
They all received an email at 1pm today telling them to take the offers down and remove stock from shelves........I went in for the fifth time and brazenly asked for more stock from the warehouse.
They came out with the email and told me it was" an illegal offer" and couldn't be sold any more, I feigned surprise and said " are they not buy one, get two free then?" and they shrugged and said "NO" to which I replied, "ooh, I thought it was a good offer" and left with haste.
Your only chance will be one that hasn't read it but chances are slim now.

Where did you find them? I ended up going to dunfermline last night and there werent any?

There were loads - shelves had probably been restocked by 1am (there was a guy stacking the shelf further down with beans or something) :rotfl:

Is there 2 Tescos in Dunfermline? It was the big Extra I was at.

I feel left out - the perishing thing didn't work for me yesterday (thought it might be cos the CA scanned my 6 in one go), tried again today on the SS and it STILL doesn't work!!! I should be happy with my buy1 get 2 free bargain - but I'm not!

I share your pain! Was this in a metro store? It was a metro store that I went to yesterday. No luck on manned or SS tills:(

No, it wasn't a Metro - just a normal, middle sized store ie not an EXTRA. I know I picked up the right stuff so I don't know what went wrong. Still, the 3 packs for 59p was still a decent offer - doesn't stop me turning green round the edges though!

The other day i was in tesco and saw the swizels lot of lollies bag on offer at £1 down from 1.73 (240g bag i think)

So i got it and it scanned at 1.73. I went back to check i had picked up the right bag and yep i had.

Went to CS and said it was priced at £1 but scanned at 1.73 so SA went to check it out and came back and said yes it was the product but there is a different barcode so must be a different type of packaging so she said she would honor the price of £1.....hmmm should it not be a double the differnece since tesco mistake and she said no it was the wrong product placed in front of the offer by tesco but the barcode was for the same but a difffernent packaged product of the same bag of lollies...hmm.

The writing said bag of lollies, 240g...what customer checks the barcode of a product to check it matches the SEL barcode when the wording and quantities match.

In a rush i just said that i didnt have time to care for arging about double the difference but now that the tomotoe glitch has come out i dont feel i can hardly complain lol
