stop moaning
as long as the tomatoes are not wasted what's the problem? look how many people have read this thread? do you honestly think everyone's going to buy 3 cartons when they can potentially get free food for themselves and their families
first come first serve
I kind of get LittleMoo's point (which I assume was aimed at me amongst others), but I agree with imnothere too, it was obvious that Tesco would cotton on to this quickly after the bank holiday was over (senior HO staff were probably on hols yesterday) so we had to 'grabbit' quickly. Plus it's on HUKD and goodness knows what other sites, so potentially thousands of people will have seen it. As I said, I normally miss the glitches at Mr T but I never begrudge others getting them. I'm sorry for those who didn't get any but hopefully you will benefit next time.
BTW, mine will be split between me/OH, my mum, his mum, a couple of neighbours and the local Salvation Army - I rang them after I came back from Tesco and they are delighted to take 30 cartons off my hands. :jGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

So you really can't complain if others buy lots. This is different from the "forever love" cd glitch as they weren't restocking, once shelf was empty that was it. but with this they are, so 1st come 1st serve me thinks...0

Still working and in stock in Oxford Cowley Road at 2.30pm, there has even been new stock put on the shelves overnight! Seems strange that Tesco wouldn't inform all stores.0

I think it depends on where you shop if the offers are still on.
Cardiff Culverhouse X has Buy one get 2 free, whilst Penarth and Barry have the glitch. So it seems the 'huge' stores have fixed the glitch.
Like others though, I believe all of us should not only be selfless, but covert as well - ie only buying what we normally would, then the glitch goes on longer as supervisors aren't alerted, and everyone gets a bargain and a feel good factor
I bought a pair of joggers for my son (£4) and a CBeebies mag (£2.75), strawberries, mushrooms and a carrot, and 2 bottles of water, with 3x3 tomatoes, (in case it didn't work!) for £4.35 instead of £15.09.
Not a huge amount, but it made me feel good and didn't alert any supervisor's suspicions.
Still going at midday down here with lots and lots of tomatoes left (I don't think anyone in our area is an MSE'r! The glitch was still working at St Mellons tesco at about 1.30pm. I only bought 3 as a test and got £3.54 off my shop. Fingers crossed it will still be on at 4.30 after work!0 -
I got the last 6 cartons in Warrington today, my DH did ask if they had any more in stock but apparently theres been a run on them this weekend!!0

I wanted to go through the SS tills with mine, but as I had so many I thought the supervisor would have been over to tell me I couldn't use SS with that many items!
This is a far more noticeable glitch than (say) the John Freida, as you are getting a minus amount for the toms and £100+ worth of shopping for a few pence, as opposed to 4 items for the price of 1 or whatever.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
