Thanks sooooo much OP!!! I visited 2 Tescos this morning and cleared the shelves in both! Must have about 130 cartons, anyone want some tomatoes? :rotfl:

At the second store, the SA seemed a bit perturbed and alerted the supervisor, who came over and looked aghast at the screen! I thought 'uh-oh'... anyway, off he scuttled to find the store manager (eek). She came over and told him that she had received a communication that all stores were to remove the toms from the shelves but that she had not seen it till now. And (the best bit) she said that she would honour it for me but that she was off right that minute to clear the shelves! I told her that I'd saved her the bother! :rotfl:

So much free shopping!!! I had so many toms that I had to buy lots of other stuff to bring it up to 57p to pay - I even treated myself to some exotic fruit and a bottle of Baileys!

Never had such a good Tesco glitch before, I've missed all the really good previous ones (John Freida etc). Thanks so much again to the OP and whoever posted it on HUKD!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks OP - glitch working fine at my store in Ilkeston half an hour ago. Not much stock on the shelves though, only about 25 cartons. I bought 15, some bogof Coke, and 3 cartons of Princes OJ for £1.50. Also bought a nice top for summer. Did it all at SS tills, SA came over to take the security tag off my top, then noticed how much the bill had come down when I went to pay. She took my receipt and went to find her supervisor. Supervisor came back and said it was all fine :D!

None on the shelves in Tesco Wokingham. Poss due to the re-fit that's underway.
  • Just been to Shoreham and Portslade stores,in Shoreham there was a manager standing with an assistant looking at them and he went off to scan 3 to see what happened so reckon they will be taken off there shortly. Great glitch tho! Thanks op.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Visited 3 stores this morning. First 2, the shelves were empty. 3rd store picked up 30 cartons.

Put them through the self serve so watched the discount be processed by the till

    No 1 box +59p
    No 2 box +59p "buy 1 get 2 free discount" -£1.18
    No 3 box +59p "buy 1 get 2 free discount" -£1.18
Then "buy 1 get 2 free discount" -£1.18 flashes up.

Amazing glitch. Got 15kg bag of dog food £11 and 2 person dome tent for kids to sleep out in the garden £13. Total paid about £6.

    Thanks muchly OP.

Just do what I do, take them to the till and if they go through at full price pretend you've left your purse at home. Easy peasy!!! :T
