evening everyone
been a bad day in toots land today - had hosp appt today so had to arrange a 7.30 carer - pick up due 830-900 - 9.20 no sign so i phoned hosp "yes transport has been arranged - it says so on the computer - they are probably delayed" - by 10 I phoned again (appt was at 9.50!) "just let me check again - yes you arranged when you were here 2 weeks ago (yes I did!) oh wait a minute the paperwork is still here - it hasnt been booked but had been updated on the computer" - so no appt - so took myself to Cornhill - got everyone in a tizz because i wasnt meant to be there!!! but it worked out in the end. went to Mr A to hand in a prescription - bought one or 2 treats etc - no card at the till - came home got my card went back and got shopping - fine but knackered then choked having my tea:eek: I think it was a combination of being tired and not swallowing properly and talking to the carer! MY throuat has been irritated a bit tonight but I am ok!
I has taken me ages to catch up and now i have missed my 9pm cut -off!!! oh well not the end of the world.

I've been avoiding planning...:D I also did a couple of hours on the allotment, replacing one of the paths. There's been areally cold wind here today.
In between times, I've been watching 'my' blackbird chick leaving the nest, and rushing out occasionally when I hear the parents making their warning call, to see if it's a cat. I scared one off yesterday. Last year all the chicks were killed (thrush last year) so I'm trying hard to help out!
I finished my planning this evening, so clear conscience now, and ready for tomorrow. I feel like I've had a holiday, five days off in a row thanks to the Bank Holiday!
Tomorrow there's a twilight INSET, from 4pm to 7pm. I finish at 12.15, so will come home then go back again, but I doubt if I'll have time or energy to be flying tomorrow. I'll catch up on Friday!
Love and hugs.
eta longtermlurker - you cross posted with toots! I would put everything removeable in the bath, on top of an old towel or something so it doesn't scratch the bath, and add a biological washing powder and hot water.Leave for as long as you can, then use a scrubby thingy to get as much off as you can, with more hot water. A soapy cloth for the inside of the oven. If you need something more industrial strength, then I think it's Ovenmate - but another flylady will probably be able to confirm.
ps. Sigh, I suppose I'll have to do mine properly then , instead of a quick wipe round with half closed eyes...
