  • I think 1st one if you want totally calm, but the 2nd for a slight 'edge' to the scheme (which I think with your love of red, is possibly more you?). If they had done the 2nd design in mocha with black lines, I'd have been off there myself!

on the flying front.. not too much today, WM x 1, and it's drying.. will iron it when it's dry, so that's no more of that for a couple of days.. haven't started on the lists yet  although the sitting room is still tidy from last week!

Hopefully I'll catch up tomorrow & Thurs - on Friday there will be no flying done at all; I'm going to the Malvern show :D:p

Piggers personally I'd go for the one with the little flowers and butterflies - but please bear in mind I love butterflies.:o

Helen J ((((HUGS)))) and hoping those horrible negative feelings are soon decluttered.

Sock knitter Ironing? Wassat? I don't really see that you need your bum kicked, but as you've requested it...... *BOOT*:D

I'm caught up.... just. And my back's flamin' killing me now, so apart from cooking the moussaka-type experiment I've just assembled, I'm doing nowt else today. So there!:D
Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway

Items done yesterday in green, today (playing catch-up) in blue.
    Level One
Open the windows and turn on some music! Patio door duly opened (it's the only “window” in the lounge) but I'll pass on the music, thanks.
Dust/polish grubby glass and mirrors and pictures.Done
Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace Done
    Level Two
Vacuum the floor now it is visible Done (Mr LW)
Pile all hotspots into one heap and sort through it all.. File/shred as appropriate All hotspots clear; all filing and shredding up to date.
Clean and defluff the fire.. arrange for chimneys to be swept if necessary and services!Done; no sweeping as it's just a gas fire.
    Level Three
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves! Done (Mr LW)
Wipe sofas and dusty places Done
HHC in the hallway.. sort those coats and shoes and mess!! Clear out handbags and schoolbags! Hallway all tidy; no coats/shoes/bags live there, only bookcases.

    Extras

    1. Freshen up any soft furnishings Done
    2. Binbag dance... grab a bag fill it and fling it! Done
    3. Check insurance policies/tax/mot etc to see when the renewals are up! All up-to-date; due dates all noted in my PDA.
    4. Wipe the woodwork in these areas Done what I can get to

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One
Declutter and mop/vacuum floor Done (Mr LW)
Clear and wipe work surfaces Done
    Level Two
Wipe units and large appliances Done
Give one small appliance a good clean! Done – not sure if microwave counts as a “small” appliance, but that's what was in need, so that's what got done.
Wipe out the fridge and get rid of anything gross and slide the stuff that needs using now into your meal plan Done (prior to visit to Farmers Market on Sunday)
    Level Three
Wipe the table, replace the cloth if needed and dust and deweb! Done (no cloth used here)
Clean through the cupboard full of food.. what needs using soon? Done
    clean oven and hob! Done
    Extras

    1. Clean a hotspot.. even if that is the inside of the breadbin! Done – degunked the compost caddy.
    2. Wipe down all the paintwork Done what I can get to
    3. Wash the windows They're still pretty clean, and I don't feel too safe standing on the stepstool today as my back, knees and hands are playing up, so will leave this.
    4. Clean any pet bedding/poo trays/stinky tanks etc N/A

At the risk of having mules and other objects thrown at me from numerous directions, I have to say, I like it when the oven is on the kitchen list. Having got it all nice and shiny, it's good to give it the once-over quite often to stop it getting grotty again.;) Mind you, I'm not cooking any roast joints or things like that, so maybe that helps.:p
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
