    Hello everyone

I think Im going to get on with level ones from tomorrow. Ive been keeping the sink clean and the beds made. And I have unpacked some more of Q's clothes.
Thank you for all the messages on FB. Im sorry I havent replied to them all (or even posted anything general). I didn't want to do anything general because my dad is of the opinion that I need to just get on with it and that the doctor cant help me if I dont want to be helped. And that I should just forget about me and do what needs doing for DH and DS . Think its fast coming time I just stop phoning South Africa.
The jobsworth expletive at the gp surgery is no longer there-apparently the complaint we made against her was not the first (although the first of such a dire nature) so dealing with the doctor has been easier. I've had one assessment and am expecting to have another toward the end of the week. And the psychiatrist has changed my meds-Im now taking 75ml of amitryptiline a day-a very interesting task as a week into it, it's still knocking me for a six. Im not going to try and catch up on the thread-or post often during the day. But I will at least put in a good morning and a good night :)

Have hoovered the repointing dust from front window sill.
    Dusted and hoovered living room.
    Hoovered bedroom and landing.
    Cleaned bathroom.
    HHI done.

Front of the house is nearly finished they will start the back tomorrow. Not so much brickwork there. There was some loose wiring above bedroom window and they have taken all that down. Showing my age here but it was from when someone has had a Redifusion television.

    Hi all
Hope everyone is well? Hugs to anyone who needs one...and 'happy birthday' to anyone celebrating today.

I've barely managed my dailies today...then visited the toxic someone in my life. To say I have no energy would be a real understatement....

Anyway, hopefully DS will go to bed tonight (and not keep me up for the entire night). It's not looking good, though. He's been suffering a post-immunisation fever and is also teething at the moment, so not eating. I seem to be BF constantly at the right now.

    Still, tomorrow is another day....

    Take care all

I've done really well with the flying today, just want to dust the family room in a minute.

Mum visited. It was all going well so not sure why she needed to have a little dig when she went.

Right homework, room tidying and bed for the youngest

Because she was annoyed that she hadn't a chance to have a go at/belittle you before that point, so had to get in a parting shot.

    Evening peeps

Had a quick catch up :D

Have been doing the paid work today although not in the mood for after b!tchface boss sent me a terse little email that she couldnt even be bothered to address me by name
Spent half hour with DH before he went to work and then cooked tea for the kids and me, then came to look for my list

    but first

    Morning all
Sorry this is not flying related but would like some advice from you all if that's ok?
I have taken the day off work because kids have inset day - they are 12 and 15 years of age. Originally I was going to work because eldest is old enough to look after himself and his brother and hubby would be in bed if they were stuck,(hubby is working on nights later and finishing at 6 tomorrow morning). I didn't know till yesterday however that eldest is going into school to work on some coursework today so youngest would be on his own downstairs and even though hubby is only upstairs he has to sleep ready to do nights later. I decided it would be unfair for youngest to be on his own and hubby to be woken if youngest really needed him so took day off work but I feel so bad about not going in - I almost feel like I'm skiving off work :( Just wondering to myself would youngest have been ok? No disrespect to my youngest but I feel so guilty :(
    What does anyone else think?

You have to do what is right for you. Personally my DH has always worked nights and ever since my children have been small there have been days he has to mind them and go back to work. When they were tiny he would catnap on the sofa while they played and then sleep when they did, as they got older they were told to wake him if they needed him but I know a lot of people wouldnt feel comfortable with this. We didnt have a choice as we couldnt afford the alternative child care or me to give up work.

    One wall in the bedroom....

    THIS....

    or THIS.... ????????
sorry but I cant imagine you sleeping surrounded by flowers and butterflies not even on 1 wall :rotfl:

pipersky - welcome out of lurkdom. Stardrops - when you've used up everything else and then start to use it you'll see the benefits but until then its just another bottle in the cupboard.

Hugs Helenjelly - I'll probably throw the cat among the pigeons here but if lack of contact is upsetting DD, I would let her go. I had terrible trouble with my XH when we split up and DS was only 5 at the time, he used to be awful about me and my now DH. I just explained that daddy was angry with me and that he would still be loved by both his parents. I also told him that if X was saying things about mummy that upset him then he should tell daddy to stop as they were his feelings not DS's. I thought that if I stopped contact then I would let him know that he was getting to me and I wasnt going to have that.

newlywed - welcome to the thread

Hugs for polkadot, Ishtar, Lamewolf, and as usual LadyLib, Toots, Triker, and anyone else i've missed who's not doing so great at the min.
