LTL - re. the oven - little and often. As toots says, soak the racks/trays in soda crystals in the bath overnight. As for the inside, just wipe it over every day with a vinegar or soda-crystal soaked cloth and it will start to make a difference. if you're feeling energetic, give it a 10 minute scrub with a scourer. Gradually it'll improve, and if you keep the same routine, you'll maintain it. And stop cooking things that make it dirty - do pot roasts, not open ones... basically make sure everything has a lid on so fat doesn't escape!0 -
:xmastree:new flyers - sb44, pipersky, newlywed have been added to the list
and jet77 as a returner - great to have you all on board.

Sorry gave up flying when I got on my soapbox on another thread but somethings better than nothing done.
Hugs for you Toots, I used to work in the transport office at our local hospital, Under the circumstances I would have gone down to the clinic and asked if you could have been seen later and sent someone for you, no wonder so many hospital staff didnt wasnt to see me go, they used to say I performed miracles with my drivers
Right off for a wander round the threads againMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Sorry Toots I did cross post. Hope you are ok, your hospital sound's terrible.
Greenbee We have a cast iron enameled bath, will it be ok with soda crystals? I will really try to have a go everyday.
I tried the Mr muscle stuff once and all it did was stop me being able to breathe:eek::rotfl:You learn to love to liveYou fight and you forgiveYou face the darkest nightJust live before you die0 -

Well at least you will know I am thinking about cleaning the oven:p
I think the bath is beyond help anyway, it really needs replacing. Will have a look at that though, we can't afford to replace it.You learn to love to liveYou fight and you forgiveYou face the darkest nightJust live before you die0 -
Hello everyone!
Blimey 21 pages already!! Hope everyone is ok I haven't read back yet. I'm in again this week even tho I'm a bit late..again! Thanks to Pigpen, Toots, Soappie and Toots the 3rd!
I have done some bits tonight, cleaned down the kitchen, done the fish tank and baked a loaf. I did mean to cut the grass but it was cold and windy by the time I got home from work so I got as far as having a nosey in the greenhouse to see if any new seeds were up then had a cup of tea instead!!
Then I bought some Skechers tone ups on t'internet...has anyone got any? They sound really good but they're not very mse..tho I did find a free delivery code and 10% cash back thro Quidco so that eased my guilt abit.0 -
