The midwife made me lie on my back for the whole 9 hours last time - not a chance of that this time, I'm going to be up and doing star jumps to get her out quicker if I have MY way lol!

I would have quite liked a homebirth, but I'm a bit too much of a coward. I don't want an epidural, but at the same time, I want to be able to change my mind if it hurts too much :o

Oh no, does that mean I talk too much??? :D

You do, but that mustn't be an indication of it because I have it too.

I was into an epidural the second time - was (in my mind) shouting for epiurdal - then realised with horrr that I would have to be still and sit up fr it - and in my mind i was like f**k!!

But all was good :) Big boy but once his head was out I was happy :) They hd to then actually ask me out push the rest of him out!!

God, i hope I have another.

I had an epidural with DS but it didn't work properly, and they made me let it wear off when the time came for pushing (now that's just mean!).

I hated trying to stay still while they put it in, and can still remember the pain of the needle going in. I had local anasthetic first, but again, it didn't seem to work.

This time, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a 2 hour labour, with a little whiff of gas and air, no stitches and back home in time for tea! You've got to be optimistic haven't you?? :D

You're not that far off though! I've been online most of the day for the last few days because I've been stuck at home feeling cack......thought it would be nice to spend the time with DS but he gets bored of me too quickly and wants to go out playing with his friends or watch Power Rangers lol!

I think I'm starting to feel a little bit better thanks - how are you, are the night shifts going okay?

Oh don't remind me - our lawns (3 of the bloody things - the joys of a corner plot ) need mowing desperately. It's like a jungle outside our house.

I AM quite excited, although I really want to shift this cold before she decides to come out. Can you imagine....
