do you find the offset mortgage worth it ?

The reason I took out an offset mortgage in the first place was that I worked in the offset mortgage department at work lol! :o But I like how flexible it is, and we do save a bit of money each month, now that we are offsetting the odd credit balance instead of using overdrafts all month. There are probably better deals out there now but it was a good deal when we took it out, and it's worked out quite well for us so far.

Hi beanielou, my maternity leave starts today (yipee!), although I've been off for two weeks because I had some holiday to take. I've been ill for almost the full fortnight with a stinking cold though - typical

Thanks lil_me, I think I'm finally starting to feel a bit better, but massive coughing fits and a baby with her head embedded in your bladder don't go well together - I've found I can still run (upstairs to the loo) even at 36 weeks pregnant!! :rotfl:

Well done, I've got cold too, no voice and kinda squeaked a little when I laughed there at the memories that brought back . I was told when I had a cough when pregnant to do big coughs to get rid of it rather than trying to hold them in and do little ones. Have you tried some steam to help ? Working wonders for me.

Hubby took DS swimming today and I went in as a spectator - it was sooooo hot and steamy in there, and I think it's done me a bit of good - I felt loads better for a few hours afterwards. If not, it will have given me a cheap facial anyway!

Yes, she's going to be called Natasha Grace - we decided on it ages ago so I hope it suits her. DS is 6 (and a half - never forget the half!), so he's quite a bit older. We didn't plan on such a big gap, but I think it will be nice, watching him become a big brother.
