He's lovely jammy! How old is he?

Yes, I'll give them another go in a few weeks when she's a bit bigger I think - they're not selling for that much on eBay at the moment so I'll persevere with them a bit longer.

The meal was nice thanks, things seem a bit better between us today.

    Brrrrr....it's freezing today isn't it!

Thankfully, relations with OH are much less frosty, got a bit snappy with each other this morning, but we sorted it out straight away rather than letting it escalate.

Ryan was on TV last night, on 'Calendar' (Yorkshire TV) - he took part in a record breaking walking bus thing and they came to his school to film it. And also, his behaviour in school is really improving again - he was 'star of the day' yesterday. I'm so proud of him. :D

Natasha is having a couple of sleepy days (growth spurt?) so I'm managing to get back on top of the housework in between feeds, which is making me feel much less stressed.

Oh, and Stu applied for an Asda credit card (just to get the 2p per litre off petrol - it will be paid in full each month). He only wanted a limit of a couple of hundred, but they've given him.....wait for it.......£4k!!! Thank goodness he's much better with money these days, otherwise he would be at the White Rose Centre now, blowing it all in Currys and HMV lol.

I thought of another money saving tip too, but I've forgotten what it was  so I'll post a bit later, when I've remembered!

Your right Snaggles - I'm even considering turning on the heating  - where's the bl00dy sun gone!!

Well done to Ryan - tell him Auntie tigtag is proud :) I didnt see calendar but I heard the news about the walk on Radio Aire.

Well done on the card, I would do it too (just for the petrol) but 1 I'm not sure if the computers still explode when you type my name and credit into them and 2 I dont think I could trust myself!! Have I not learnt anything

He'll love that, he likes reading your posts because he loves your avatar! He likes Charlottes posts for the same reason (she has a tardis).

I was going to mention as well, if anyone has very young children, Boots 3 for 2 on Huggies seems to have ended, but they have the Boots own brand nappies (which I'm told are made by Pampers - they're exactly like Pampers anyway) on offer - £1.50 for 24 newborn size nappies! We bought loads, plus if you're in the Boots parenting club you get double points on Boots brand baby products.

Oh I remember the money saving thing now - I'm not sure if I've posted it before and it's probably obvious, but if you're having a baby, don't bother buying them any 'first size' outfits, because newborns just live in sleepsuits (£3.75 for 3 plain white ones at George).

It's hard work putting them in 'proper' clothes, they're not as comfy for them because of buttons/seams etc and people will buy you some first size outfits anyway. They only wear them for about 4 weeks (so you only get a couple of uses out of each outfit), they don't sell THAT well on eBay (slightly larger sizes sell better in my experience), and newborns look sooooo adorable in plain white babygros anyway.

God, this thread is actually becoming about money saving, isn't it lol! :p

how old is Natasha now Snaggles? they have growth spurts about 10 days, 4-6 weeks, 3 months then every few months, (unless its my ds who seems to have one every other week:eek: )

do you fancy swapping a sleepy baby for a none sleepy baby who likes to bounce?:rotfl:

She's 5 weeks 1 day, so about right for a growth spurt then?

Ohhh, I remember Ryan being that age - they LOVE bouncing don't they.

There was a toy around then called bounce bounce tigger (or something) and Ryan used to love standing on my knees, with me holding him under his arms, singing 'bounce bounce TIGGER (bouncing him up and down on the 'bounce bounce' bits, and lifting him right up in the air on the 'TIGGER' bit).

My arms used to ache after a minute or two, but he would make me keep going for about 15 minutes....ouch!
