Snaggles if you would have said that a few days ago then no doubt you are still a very strong couple, that's not going to have changed! You're both going through a difficult time and sometimes it feels easier not to talk rather than burden each other but actually talking can work wonders. I am sure it is just a phase, don't forget this:Snaggles wrote:I love him to bits though, and I know we'll get through it.
We're always here for you to chat to but I think we'll forgive you neglecting us for as long as needs be if you're talking to him instead

Hi Mrs Snaggles, sorry you are both down in the dumps. Thinking of you (Always!) Lenny xThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Thanks, it's appreciated - I've spoken to him on the phone and he thought the idea of having a meal together is a good one, so we're going to do that tonight. He's also promised that we will go somewhere as a family on Sunday, and leave the housework, the gardening, the DIY etc etc for another day. And I've promised not to be such a moody old cow!
I've also promised I will speak to the health visitor next week about all the anxiety I'm feeling about Natasha (and Ryan too for that matter), as I know it's normal to worry, but I think what I'm feeling might be a bit excessive, which probably isn't helping matters either.

It must be soooo nice to be mentally stable....
If you ever find someone who is mentally stable can you let me know so I can see what I am supposed to be like!
Snaggles, I know from your posts that you love the bones off Mr Snaggles..
You are normal - men and women aren't really meant to live together you know!! I think I have told you before I veer wildly between wanting to strangle my OH (usually on the hour every hour) and love him to death.
I am sure my life would be very empty without him though......:oQuality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Sammy, that's exactly how I feel! I'm thawing towards him now, having got it all off my chest here, and had a nice chat to him....I'm just hoping he doesn't decide to read what I've been saying about him today lol!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

My OH would DIE if he knew what I said about him... He has no sense of humour.
Oh well, off home now to pick up my little one... I have done no work at all today.. Been great sitting across from Boss furiously typing away - he thinks I have been a busy bee - see you in a bit.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

I wish I knew what it felt like to be mentally stable *sigh*
Babe,
You will get thru this, having a baby is always hard work and can make the most easy going laid back person snappy.
Big hugs x x xEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Thanks Bunny, I've just given Ryan his tea so that me & Stu can have ours later on our own. Hopefully a bit of time (and conversation) together will help us get back on track."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Ditto! Its easy to compare yourself with other people and feel down but don't forget, they're probably feeling unstable too underneath and just hiding it!

Well, I have made my first (and possibly last) foray into the world of reusable nappies. What a complete disaster lol!
Nappy number 1 took me so long to get on and fastened that she had wet it before I'd even finished. Nappy number 2 did actually make it all the way on, but they're HUGE, soooo big and bulky!
I could only just barely fasten her vest, her trousers wouldn't go back on, and I'm pretty sure she hated it, because she was howling in anger by the time I'd finished. I put her in her bouncy chair, and tried to cheer her up, but she just carried on crying, and was holding her legs out at a funny angle, looking really uncomfortable (they're much bulkier than disposables).
I've fed her, cuddled her, tried to get her off to sleep, but she just wouldn't settle, and after an hour I took it back off and put a disposable on.
So based on 2 uses, they're possibly the most expensive thing I have ever bought, at £12.50 per nappy!
Off to look on eBay to see how much they might sell for...."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
