    have spent ages catching up v. funny today.
    Just wondering if you had a hot bath the other day snaggles that caused me to be admitted overnight with blood pressure.

    I did have a bath actually, although I didn't think it was overly hot. And I'd had a bath last time it spiked too (I usually do before I see the midwife).......time to start having cold showers I think. Thanks for the tip!

    I had to run about like a blue assed fly getting bag ready....4 weeks before I was due. I had nothing ready no pj's or nothing:D

    On the subject of lost dignity-anyone remember these words...

    'Just want to check your stitches Mrs. (insert name here)'?

    Or how about being wheeled out of the labour room in a wheelchair with the world falling out of your wazoo and shaking like a dog sh!tting razor blades? Only to be dropped off ON YOUR OWN to try and have a shower? It was like a horror movie with blood flinging up the walls!

    Ah, it's so lovely giving birth...

    I had a bath instead of a shower.. it's an eye opening experience bathing in your own blood and *ah hem* floaty bits..:eek:

    Yep, I made the mistake of having a bath too...well I couldn't stand up unaided so had no choice. I like to call it 'the bloodbath'.
