Oh oo - Sams just come up and found me looking at the Dr Who thingy in Manchester (the link provided on IA's diary) and hes getting a bit excited even though I havent said we will go but I think we will as Andy got a load of tax back this week and whilst the majority is going towards our debt - i think a little treat might be in order. Do you think it will not be "DFW" to take him?

I will feel really guilty of we do take him or we dont. I think it would do us the world of good to go out together for a day and we can take a picnic

Well, I'm looking at it like this - it's pretty expensive, BUT - it's a family day out that we will all really enjoy - we can take a picnic, and either find somewhere cheap to park or go by train, and it's on until November so we can make sure we put the money aside for it, rather than bung it on the credit card and hope for the best.

And Doctor Who might just turn up in his tardis and sweep me off my feet.....

(I love hubby to bits, but David Tennant is on my 'allowed' list hahaha!)

Weller711 - I think that you should take him... I found that If I didn't allow for thing's like this then just paying my debt's back got a bit much... I didn't take them out every month but once in a while say every 3 months I still managed to pay my debt's off and still had happy children!!

    Hi Snaggles
Thank heavens all is well. Phew! What better way to get your blood pressure down than to be reassured. The waiting really sucks doesn't it. My first was 9 days late, and when threatened with induction came on his own. My second had to be delivered 3 weeks early due to problems. And I didn't get knocked out, though the anaesthetist took AGES getting the epidural in!

So best of luck with the waiting. You might want to think about planning some meals etc, so that you stay DFW in the days after the birth, when everyone is happy and tired at the same time. I batched cooked a lot of things to get over the first couple of weeks with my first. We were living with my parents in law for the second so mother in law did all the cooking!:D

Looking forward to Natashas first picture

Thanks Snaggles and Jet - think we might just have a day out. He never complains about anything, not having McDonalds or a Doctor Who Comic or whatever so I think he needs a treat.

My Dad has just called to say hes got something for Sam so will be popping in later and said and I quote "For Gods Sake Lisa, why didn't you just ask me for some money you silly lass- I'll treat the lad - have a day out on me" Dads eh? Gotta love them.

Snaggles - sorry for hijacking xxxx

Snaggles/Weller, we are back from the Dr who exhibition. Snaggles I think you may have been looking at the season ticket prices. Cost to get into Dr who exhibition was £6.50 for adult, £4.50 for concessions, under 5s free, they also do a family ticket for £20 (2 adults 2 children). The science museum is free and has areas for you to eat a packed lunch.
