My Mum has filled me with scary c-section horror stories (I was born by c-section), but I'm trying to keep it in perspective, as it was thir...thirt...twenty-odd years ago
She went under general anaesthetic too, and I'm fairly sure they don't knock you out any more.
I thought Mum's were supposed to calm you down in a crisis:eek:
Don't worry about the scary stories it will all go really well and you will be fine.
Good luck for tomorrow0 -

Have got everything crossed for you for tomorrow Snaggles, just remember that whatever the outcome, it's for the best - the most important thing is that you are both safe and well, and whatever has to be done to ensure that is what has to be done.
Bear in mind what Doris Day sang: Que sera, sera.
Best of luck, lots of hugs, we'll all be thinking of you love tumble x

Night night lovey, I hope all is well with the world by the time you read this. If it's any consolation I am a nurse and was still asking the midwife in between 14 second apart contractions and mid push when I could go home! She suggested I may want to wait until baby arrived! I work in the hospital where I had both DC and I saw my senior nurse (in charge of hospital) at 2.35am when I went in to have DS. There I was wandering in with DH panicking about me refusing to use the lift (what if it got stuck- he's no midwife!) and I saw Julian on the way up the stairs. Oh hello he says what are you doing here in your PJ's? - Just thought I'd pop in to do some overtime I say!!!
Whatever happens birthwise you will have the product to look at and marvel at her/him (I know but surprises do happen!) for ever more.

Snaggles,
Please find a way to keep us up to date-
I was induced with DS and it was fine! No problems at all (and my Mom called me as well to tell me how horrible it would be as well, Thanks mom!)
It was over in a few hours (4 I think?) and DS was over 10lbs and I only had 1 stitch. Near the end I was having all sorts of problems with my blood pressure, I had HUGE feet and hands, SPD but it was all ok in the end. I know it's easy to say 'don't worry' but do try not too.
Sending you lots of love and hugs and virtual support sweets,
Bunny x x x x
ps
Len, you're a reet ol' softie aren't you? My Mom used to play that song to me when I was a little girl...made me smile and cry...(she also used to play me 'You and Me Against the World' by Helen Reddy-anyone remember that one?)Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Just to say Snaggles, I hope you're doing okay
Thinking of you x
