Hello :hello: I'm back! And I've still got a bump lol
After I signed off here last night I had another panic because my feet started swelling up, so I rang delivery suite and spoke to a lovely lady who said it was probably nothing but to go in if my hands or face became swollen, or if I had any other symptoms (luckily I didn't).
I arrived at the hospital first thing this morning, and have spent the day being poked, prodded, stabbed with needles, had just about every test going, and basically I'm fine. They don't really know what caused my blood pressure to go up, but it's back down again today. They also didn't find any traces of protein in my urine. I was on one of those trace machines for ages, the baby's heartbeat was absolutely fine and she was kicking like crazy. The monitor also showed I'm having mild contractions, but not painful or regular, so I'm not in labour.
I've just got to try and relax for a bit now, keep having my blood pressure checked every few days and basically wait for her (or him....just in case) to decide to come out.
To everyone that has posted - I've been really touched by all of your concern, and the love and support you have shown has been really quite overwhelming - pressing the thanks button doesn't seem like enough.
Lots and lots of love
