Sorry you have been prodded and poked - nothing like being pregnant is there?

Its the prodding and poking that got her into this mess in the first place:D

Those prices actually aren't so bad at all, especially if you're not having to pay for food etc. Hope you had a nice day out?
The Dr who exhibition is good but is doesn't take that long to go round (for us about 20 minutes). You can stretch it out longer cos we never took the quiz sheet, and if you are reading about each monster and watching the scenes on tv screens it will take longer. BEWARE you come out in a shop selling Dr who mechandise. .

The inter-active childrens bit in the science museum kept my 2 entertained for ages. There are also other parts of the museum showing aircraft and old rolls royce but mine were bored by the time we'd got to my fav bit which was showing 1930s and 1950s kitchens and living rooms with the electrical items they would have had then.

It took us a good 3 hours to go round everything, that was without a break as we'd stopped and had a McD's breakfast :o before getting there. If we'd broken to have lunch we'd have been there longer, so depends on how long a day you wishto make of it. Def take drinks with you, I'd left mine in car and we paid a fortune for some out of vending machine. We used museum car park, can't remember price it was either £3 or £5.I'll edit when I find out. Apparantly it was £5.

There are quite a lot of steps and I didn't always notice slopes or lifts to different levels, so if you're going when baby gets here I'd suggest getting a sling, on the other hand disappearing to a different county, far aware from your hospital is almost guarnteed to set you into labour.;) :rotfl:

Spendless - can I ask how old your children are? Just dont want to waste the sunshine if my 7 year old is going to be bored as its given rain for Sunday and Monday and I'm not sure if OH is working on Monday. What I mean to say, do you think its worth going 50 miles or so on a sunny day as we had planned to go for a picnic at a playpark.

Son 7 and daughter 4, just for both as their birthdays are both in March. The museum is actually several different buildings, so I personally wouldn't want to being going outside and back in on a very bad weather day (heavy rain for example). But certainly it could be saved for a not so good weather day.

I'm happy that you're home snaggles, mini contractions sounds like a bank holiday baby to me. Relax, let hubby run around after you, you need to keep the blood pressure down after all (I hear chocolate is great for that:rotfl: )

    Snaggles,
    Told ya!!!!
    You'll be fine sweetheart, honest.
If you'd have seen my 'cankles' and hands with both my DC you'd have DIED laughing! I looked like the Michilene (?) Man...was so horrible. I also walked around 2 cm dialated, fully engaged with DD for 2 weeks! Was like having a bowling ball hanging out your wazoo. No wonder I am like Niagra Falls! (which, by the way, I shall be visiting again in 6 weeks time lol)

    Big hugs to you all,
