Definitely try the Avobath! It was the first bath bomb I ever used (was never really that interested in them until the December deal where you got £10 free of stuff when you spend £30), and it's amazing! I have super pale skin and it didn't make me look look like Marvin at all! It's very nice and moisturising.
UU:
BS Satsuma body polish/scrub that I've had for 2.5 years. WIBA? Possibly if it were on sale, I got it in a super reduced Satsuma gift set after Christmas. It was very nice but am glad to no longer see it on the edge of the bath tub!
Naked Shine Shampoo. WIBA? Yes! Not for a while though because it's also 2 years old (been using it off and on that entire time) so I fancy a change. I really wasn't a fan of the smell at first all, not particularly the best in the world. However, it is the only hair product I've ever used that has truly lived up to its shiny hair promise.
As a side note, I can definitely recommend the Naked Volume Weightless Conditioner which I bought at the same time as the shampoo way back when (and is long gone). I don't have fine hair, but I have long hair with lots of layers and it was very very lovely. It made my hair very bouncy and bodyliscious!March win: Fair Squared organic spa skincare set

Oooh L1977, wow congrats!
I find the tiny little yellow tubs that come, I think in a pack of three, maybe four, in a box, I am pretty sure they are L'oreal elvive S.O.S...these are quite good.0 -
Just found some more toiletries I had forgotten all about, among them were a few Boots products Skin Kindly (purple bottles) and bodyscience (blue cans) no idea how old these are and when Boots stopped selling them, but will try them and see if they are still ok. I vaguely remember some sort of glitch on these at the time and am sure they cost me very little, if anything!
Anybody else still got any of these ranges?
I thought the Skin Kindly brand sounded familiar so I had a look on my skin care shelf and found a Cleansing Water (kind of toner I guess). Like you, I also vaguely remember getting it cheap - I think it was when Boots were discontinuing them. I'm not due to open a new toner for a while, so hope its still ok. Let me know how you get on with yours!:)0 -
Thank you Fairydustandsparkles and Vatic for restoring my faith in the Avobath bath bomb. I'm glad that you didn't turn green and I will definitely use it now without worrying. I also went mad with the Lush offers at New Year and still have about 3 shoebox size boxes full of soaps, bath bombs and bubble bars to use up!
Confession time: I stupidly went on the Grabbit thread - why?????? - and saw the Sanctuary offer (Boots). I have ordered 2 x facial wash for £5.87 (half price) delivered to store and I get a GWP worth £10 (which does look lovely).
Ladies, as its not going to be available for collection until Friday, that is technically June right?!! (Well yes, I did have to pay for it .. oh ok, yes I know, its still May!) But I am definitely give the GWP as a present. And I also did say that I would buy the Sanctuary facial wash again if I ever saw it on offer. Its very lovely, very good value for money, lasts ages and at half price who could refuse. Well not me, that's who!! So I have now gone over my May budget by about £1 I think, but when my month's budget was £10 and I have got a pressie worth £10 coming, I don't think its toooooo bad do you???
I did manage to avoid the temptation of the Avon book, and the Body Shop bargains, but Sanctuary was my downfall - am I forgiven?
Love from Candice x0 -
P&W sounds like you're forgiven to me. If you use the product, and need the product and have a gift for someone to boot then thats not bad. you just need to make sure you're strong when you go to pick it up instore.
LostiR - are those the L'Oreal tubes? I did look at getting those once. Hair is in really bad way, colour needs doing but condition is um like cotton wool!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Not much time so have to read and run...... No use ups but I noticed that DH has been out and bought 2 huge bubble baths and a tub of talc. What's wrong with the talcs already in the bathroom? Gah!
Congratulations Lilian1977! Mineallmine, would a good soaking with olive oil do the trick? Wrap wet hair in a hot towel and leave for some time, then rinse out after.
My hair is in an awful state at the mo. I got so hot last Saturday at work that I hacked about 6 inches off the bottom when I got home. It's much cooler but I need to get it done properly as it's pretty wonky and has no layers in it. Not a problem for now as I always wear it tied up but I do want to go to the hair dressers and get my pixie cut (when I get round to it, same old same old!).Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

Yes, I'm pretty sure. they are a darkish yelllow colour. Its also worth checking you are using the right shampoo (a moisture one or a protein one) with ''the stretch test'' which I think flippen36 first told me about and which has been AMAZING.
http://fasthealthyhair.com/03-hair-elasticity-stretch-test.html
I could never understand why my ''rescue'' protein shampoos or super moisturising ones, till I learnt that often I was reaching for the wrong bottle, needing moisture when I thought protein was the answer or vice versa.0 -
LiR done the test and hair broke/snapped very easily - so protein products then? like keratin - which is in one of my shampoos i know.
PS just checked, am using ultra cheap asda anti dandruff shampoo at mo.....Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
