Gotta tell you this. Last night I had started to select toiletries to take with me on Saturday night as I am going to a party and staying over in a hotel. This included some unopened Sanctuary stuff. This morning I couldn't resist cracking open a bottle of the Sanctuary body lotion to give it a try. Well, I started with one of my arms and was quite generous with the amount I put on. I went into "WIBA mode", thinking "this is dreadful, it's really hard work to get it to soak in, I'll have to report to you ladies". I picked up the bottle again thinking I'll put a lot less on the other arm and guess what? I was using bath soak!!! :rotfl:I had to wash it off and start again. Glad to report that the body lotion is perfectly fine and I'm sitting here smelling lovely!

Off to Paris today, got lots of minis packed to take with me, yippee!!! They're all lovely brands too, Origins, Decleor, La Roche Posay etc. :)

I got my skin analysed the other day (hence the LRP samples) and apparently my skin is the most hydrated and least sun damaged the girl had seen in ages!!! She said that my 'skin age' was 24.6 years, which I was well chuffed about as I'm a bit older than that!

I have a tube of eye cream on its last legs, it's so tiny that even with cutting it open it's hard to get it out. But I shall, mwahahahaha!

Have a good BH weekend! I dread to think how much chat I'll have to catch up on when I come back on Tuesday!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

No use ups to report but now I have an extra reason not to spend - just found out I'm 2 weeks pregnant :) Not telling anyone except DH yet in case it doesn't stick but I need to talk about it and here is as good a place as any!

Just finished my Lacuna night cream.

WIBA: I've just moved onto another one! It's only £1.99 and for the price, it's great! There are some downsides, though: it feels really good on the skin (and feels as though you could put make-up on top of it which I did for a day or two when I ran out of day cream and used it for that until I got some more), but I don't know how deep it sinks into the skin. I don't think it penetrates as far as I would like. And it's one of those 'any skin type' creams, which always make me slightly suspicious.

Other than that, it's brilliant! :)

I actually have hardly any day moisturisers and am considering buying a P&P day cream, does anyone recommend it? I think Bronnie is a fan but can't remember if anyone else likes it.
    Tara, QUOTE

tara, I have a new jar that will be opened soon, if you pm your address I'll spoon a dollop out of the new jar (untouched by human hand!!!) and post it in the morning so you can try it. It's too expensive to buy a jar speculatively, I reckon!! Be quick though, cos I'm off on hols again tomorrow night!!

To go totally off-topic, I have a maxi dress which is bias cut and although I love it, I feel as though it clings to my mummy tummy (yes even after 25 years it's still there!), so I bought a pair of body shaper briefs in TJ's last weeks. SA wouldn't let me open the packet to look at them let alone try them on even though they had a hygiene strip..........she obviously went to the "computer says no" school of customer service. They had a long legged type pair on display so I had a go with those even though I just wanted the briefs, seemed ok and as they were a "bargain" at £4.99 bought them. Tried them on today and the stupid things have got a reinforced middle panel from bust to belly button, then it all goes slack again. I wonder can you imagine the effect. It actually pushes the below-the-belly-button tummy out further :( So will have to go back after hols and fight a "not fit for purpose" battle I expect and SA's gonna keep saying " no returns on underwear". I can hear her now!!

Goodness Bronnie, I've only just seen this! Sorry. That is so kind of you to offer. If you do still have some, I would be so grateful. I don't mind whether it's open or not lol.

Good luck with the briefs - fight your corner and quote the Sale of Goods Act at them, you should be fine xoxo

    ETA: lilian1977, congrats!!!!!!!

Tara, did you ever get my email?

Have a great time in Paris! I want to go too.....next time I'm in Paris I plan to have the famous curry and La Coupole, while I pretend to be Josephne Baker.
