Thanks, i think it's just me moaning! Next week I'll be complaining that it's just not dark enough :rotfl: - i'm in a fairly foul mood this week - the days are dragging for me, please ignore my little rants! lol i know i shouldn't but if i type it out on here then i stop blowing up on people in the office/friends/at home. I don't tend to get stressed (so laid back) but this week has been one thing after another and i can't really handle it!! but it's theraputic letting it out in one way - the people at my bank's call centre and internet shopping sites have been bearing the brunt of my anger this week! Sooooo in a roundabout way i'm trying to say is that i'm sorry for clogging up this page and I shall be back to normal soon xx
looking for hugs icon but could not find! hope life gets better soon xx

I don't think you need to apologise. A lot of us get a sense of ''sanity'' from the boards. Its lovely not having to answer people's questions on the spot, and to take a break from having to ''grin and bear it'' in front of other people.

    Finished...

Elemis Pro-collagen lifting treatment (for neck and bust) - wiba? No (v. expensive) but happy to use it if I get it in a collection of items for a bargain price!!
Gatineau Throat Gel - wiba? ditto above.
Neal's Yard Lavender Cleansing Cream - wiba? nope, not worth £9.50 for 30ml (only paid a couple of quid for it from TK Maxx). Smells nice though.

I keep a total of the replacement value of the products I use up each month (not what I paid for them, but if I wanted to go out and buy again as single items), and each month it is a scary approx. £250!!!!! But I have a stash, so am happy to delve into that for a replacement item.
Will have to go for more reasonably priced stuff when stash is gone (understatement of the year.....)!!!

thank you LiR and rosemary - it's just little silly things and I think I'm just generally feeling sorry for myself and focusing on them but i'm drawing a line today and not letting them bother me again :)

I'm hoping - no actually I am going to join the buy no toiletries in June thread:) However I am practicing now and want to know how everyone else uses up their serums that are in glass bottles? The Boots time delay night serum in particular.

Is there a little gadget or gizmo that I don't know about to get the last of the serum out? The pump is no longer working (it doesn't reach the bottom properly) and I can see loads left in the bottom if the bottle if I could only reach it:(

    Any advice greatfully received:)
:naughty: Save money on toiletries: no new/duplicate items until I've used up all existing supplies

Lid off depending on the product this can be hard) and in with an implement. wrong end of a teaspoon, or for the very last bits a cotton bud (though this absorbs some product)

My teaspoon handles are too big for the bottle will have a go with the cottom buds though - many thanks :T

Boots bog standard shower gel in mandarin (well, it's an orange colour, anyway) now dead. I used it up as bubblebath last night & even rinsed the bottle out :D

Have replaced it was a Boots Dead Sea Source ginger body scrub that I started over a year ago, it is still good: I used DH as a tester!

Ouch alert: he didn't notice that it was a scrub until it was too late ... next time he'll start washing on his leg, not the more tender places :o
