Welcome aboard Want2BMoneySavvy, everyone is lovely, friendly and supportive here, here's to your first report of an NSD .

I'm reporting my 5th NSD today, been so busy today that I haven't had time to spend pennies, all I have to do is keep busy again tomorrow and I've met my target for this month, then I can try for more NSD's to put me in training for the 14 I want to go for in June.

    Hi guys,

NSD numero 13 for me today. I did go out with sis to pub after work but only had 1 and she insisted on paying. Tomorrow will be a NSD but Weds will be a spend day as it's a friends berfday and I need to get him a pressie and also it my turn to buy dinner. :( if u know what I mean. Thursday shouldbe good then on Friday am going away for weekend and as long as I don't treat myself to anything then it will all be paid for out of 'saved up' holiday budget.....which by my rules doesn't count as SD's!!!! He he!

NSD 18 today. Which was one of the few good things about today. We have spent most of the time being seriously stressed, we were told this morning that our mortgage will not be released as suddenly they need us to have a very expensive expert to come out and do a specialist survey. Thankfully after many hours of chasing people trying to identify the problem and find out what was really need to find a resolution we have been told this is no longer the case and it was a misunderstanding over one of the reports they had received. We have been told we will be getting the money later this week, I hope this is the case I doubt we could cope with another day like today. In addition to all the stress and frustrastion over the misunderstanding we have not had the opportunity to do the things we had planned for today, all in all feels like a wasted day.

:j NSD 10 which means I've reached my target this month! Woo hoo! And with much more leeway than last month too so I shall see how many more I can squeeze in, though I am not officially going to up my target yet.

Still have to catch up with you all, but it seems when I'm not working, exercising or out in the sun, that the only thing I can do is fall asleep! :o

Maybe I can try and catch up at work tomorrow ;).

NSD number 12 for me Spoon - unusual for a Monday I know but I did prepay my slimming class which frees up the day for me - so no more calling in at the shops on the way home, and picking up a few treats when there, which should save money and lbs - I gained a half pound this week but this is because I have missed lots of meals due to the heat - you have got to eat to lose weight - it just has to be the right things

Should be good for the next three days - will be going out tomorrow but no spend involved :)

That's awful BB, I'm so sorry to hear about everything you've had to go through today.

Hopefully it's all sorted now and the money will come through on time - but what a nightmare.

It might feel like a wasted day right now, but at least it's all resolved now and hopefully no more obstacles in your path.

Keeping my fingers crossed it all works out OK for you now.

    Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Well that’s Monday over and done with and what happened to the weather today? I’m not even looking at the forecast for the rest of the week - too depressing! :(
Anyway, lots more NSDs rolling in today, 3 more targets being trampled and another lovely person joining our happy challenge - sounds like a result to me!:j

And welcome to another new joiner to the challenge:
Want2BMoneySavvy: :hello: hi Anna and welcome, good to have you on board our happy challenge. We are all slightly insane here, but a very friendly bunch so please join in with the chat and general lunacy.;)
I will add your name to the front page anyway and the NSDs that you get this month, but just wondered if you wanted a target to aim for as well? No problem if you don’t, if you decide you like the challenge and want to join up for June, you can do that then. Look forward to seeing some updates from you. :)

    Targets met today:
boultdj: well done:j - 15 NSDs done and dusted now, that’s brilliant! You are now the proud owner of a dancing pink elephant for all your hard work!:j Keep ‘em rolling in now, no slacking! You can have a dancing banana as well if you’d like to increase your target a little bit;)
Tixy: well done:j - first attempt and you’ve made your target of 10 :j- brilliant! A dancing elephant is coming your way right now. How about increasing it just a little bit so that you can have the dancing banana as well - matching pair then;)..
nicca: and another one at target today -:j well done for no 10 - you’ve done brilliantly this month! :j Hoping for lots more for you, with or without the dancing banana;)
Good idea to catch up with us at work tomorrow - need to make good use of your time;)

    Well done to:
missylaney: bright and early this morning - obviously eager to report your no 8 :j- well done! Only 2 more left to get now - keep going!:)

honey: :jwell done for getting to no 6 - NSD weekend is brilliant! Fingers crossed you are good this week, hoping for lots more NSDs... Ahh.... thanks:o
Good news on the garden front as well, surprising how a quick smarten up can change the look of it completely eeek to the cable though:eek:...
BigMumma: well done for no 16 :j- brilliant!!
And definitely well done for making a start on the clearing out - if you’ve got any spare time, I can find you lots of useful jobs to do;).... Hope the chicken and salad went down well tonight

    3Dogs: well done for no 12 today:j - you’re doing brilliantly - 5 more to get now!
Like the being organised on the slimming club front. Sorry you’ve gained half a pound but it’s definitely the heat, you’re right, you need to eat to lose weight and not really the weather at the weekend for eating the right stuff. Better luck next week.
Hoping for lots more NSDs over the coming week:)

    And hello to everyone else:
pure dead dopey: lunch yesterday sounds good - hope you enjoyed it.;)
OH sounds like mine re shopping, I think it’s a deliberate ploy so that I don’t ask him to do it very often! Andouilette is OK once you get used to the idea of it - that’s the hard part:)
Dorastar: yes, you did indeed make your target - thought you might be surprised!! :)
    Ahhhh thanks:o....
Hope you made it home without the services of the RAC man and the visit to the garage tomorrow isn’t too painful
Ohhhh noooo:(... just seen the post about the garage episode - you rant away, enough to drive you crazy (if you’ll excuse the pun!). Good luck with sorting it tomorrow, I hope they’ve found the proper fix for it.
katenut: oh dear for 3 spend days in a row:( - but you deserved a treat for having to work over that lovely weekend.
Hope you enjoyed the BBQ and the committee meeting went well:)

Well I seem to have managed another one today as well, taking me up to 19 - one more to go now:j:j

Off to do the update now, so see all you lovely people tomorrow.

NSD 18 today. Which was one of the few good things about today. We have spent most of the time being seriously stressed.....

.......all in all feels like a wasted day.
((hugs)) for the hassle, but NOT a wasted day if you got things sorted without having to pay for the additional report :)
cw18: Glad you had a good weekend away - you picked the right weekend weather-wise - brilliant!:)
It was actually tooooooo hot for doing much, though we did manage a few easy 'meanders' around the area (which my legs are now telling me off for by stiffening up). But being 'holed up' due to heat made a change to being water-logged, which is what always used to happen when I was up with the family years ago :o We were very anti-social due to the heat on Sunday afternoon, and sat at opposite ends of the living room with our MP3 players (quite a difference in music tastes) reading books we'd taken up with us....... but it was actually a very relaxed and chilled 'anti-social' :)

Arrggh to work, what a pain! And double arrggh to DS...
I'd joked to OH on the way up to the Lakes that no doubt work would be phoning me just after 7am to see why I hadn't turned it.... and apparently they'd been trying for a while before I had the missed call. A couple of staff tell me they said to management they were pretty sure I was away, but still they tried and tried again  I''m just glad there's no mobile signal where we were staying, otherwise they would have been on the phone to me several hours earlier (and they'd still have been told - politely - where to get off!)

As to DS - he doesn't like going to the shops for anything much, so I wasn't really surprised to find he hadn't spent any of the money. Just annoyed a little that I had to go back out last night to do the shopping, but it's not his fault I didn't come home before work - which would have given me the chance to check what was needed and compile a shopping list for straight after work :o

Well I seem to have managed another one today as well, taking me up to 19 - one more to go now:j:j
    Well done yourself :T

Number 13 for me today please. It's payday, so have lopped some more off the debt, as per my shiny new totals-down to single figures next month. Although it's still a mahoosive amount single figures feels like a big achievement.

And as it's payday, for the first time in my working life instead of spending, I'm going to purposely not spend to kick me out of my old habits.
