    Morning All

Won't be a NSD for me to-day as have to do some shopping and am going to a cheaper shop area where I will be able to pick up some normal items for bargain prices, including the doggles treats which normally cost a fortune, taken to making my own!!!
Have a good day all, me plants survived the cold night, so far but I have to tell you it snowed when I was sitting my O levels (obviously not in the recent past) but true so you never know.................

Spent again this morning - think the milk monster must have been up most of the night, and then complained the last bottle already tasted like it's on the turn (bbe today!)

Called into A!di, but no f/fat milk in. Did pick up tomato puree and passata though
Called into Lid! for the milk
Called into Nett0 as I wanted one of the 5l pressure sprayers they have on offer from today for the garden (outside of this challenge). But I spotted their Whoopsie section, so came home with 2 x pack of 2 chicken & cheese escalopes, 2 packs smoked bacon pieces (for spaghetti carbonara) and 2 packs Irish sausages which were all half price. DS won't thank me for the sausages as they're the Irish type and only small ones (12 to a 454g pack) - but I like them fine, so have frozen them in 4's and may not use them until after he moves out in September.

Also wanted some of the 4-way switched (and surge protected) sockets from Nett0 (at £5 each they're cheaper than the A!di ones at £6.99), but having seen them in both stores I decided I'd rather pay the extra at A!di as they look much more substantial - and seem to have the flexibility to be used above or below the wall socket, whereas the Nett0 ones don't. So I must remember to bob back to A!di after work (it's across the road and only a tiny bit further from home)

Have made the most of it already being a spend day, and also ordered some stuff for my nails (major problems with them splitting and peeling) that's been recommended by a number of friends.

....and toilet cleaning fairies (me and DD) do it all with a wee swish of a big wand....Surely you've got that back to front :D

Wonder if the aliens would consider the housework mmmm mmmm
If the aliens will 'do', can you ask if they'd 'do' for me too? Me & housework are not the best of buddies
....the doggles treats which normally cost a fortune, taken to making my own!!!....
Details & recipes please! I had a recipe for liver cake but Pup wasn't too keen--mind, I haven't tried it for a while...And I haven't begun my seeds yet as the local forecast is still threatening frosts & we don't have window-sills to start them inside :o

My dad's aunt was a wonderful woman. She was widowed around late fifties but stayed on in the home until well into her 90s. To get in you had to climb the most horrendous wooden steps as they lived above a shop, but the stairs were always slippery with dew. She used to go to an old peoples home to "teach the old girls how to knit" even tho most of them were twenty years younger than her :rotfl:She flew to Australia for a month in her 92nd year & received a telegram from The Queen on her 100th birthday, & in all honesty, that was the first time she looked 'elderly' but still nothing akin to her true age. She passed peacefully just eight weeks before reaching 101. As mentioned before, I feel honoured & humbled to have known her & try to emulate her thirst for Life & knowledge as I go about my days.

Yesterday was No 7 for me, thanks Spoon.

Aw BigMumma, I hardly feel I can gripe about the person who hasn't put enought postage on something, leaving me to pay £1.32 to collect it next time the collection office is open, when you tell such lovely stories of your Dad's aunt!

So far, so good... but the order I tried to put through online last night didn't work so I won't declare in case I hear back from them today...

Oh, and I need to phone the college to check on the sewing courses fees, so it's not looking likely... :(

Hello lovely ladies and fellow NSD-ers

Gosh you've all been busy. Work has been manic here - I go away on Saturday to Germany for a week long conference my employer is hosting. Am on the 'go-fer' team which means I'll get 4 hours sleep a night and a load of blisters on my feet. But the build up to this once a year event is horrendous so have had no time for my beloved forums for over a week :(. All work and no play. But bizzarely still spending??

So need to do a lot of catching up at somepoint......? But I guess the only thing I really need to know is 1) Brighton 2) StarWars 3) arriving on Bikes? Is that correct. After a week of German Sausage and Beer I'll probably arrive as Jabba the Hut.

Right NSD's. Gulp....errrm (consults trusty spreadsheet with a ;) to the spreadsheet crew)..... I've only got a lousy 3 so far this month. Everything has gone to pot! The good news is is that the whole of next week will be NSD's as everything is paid for by employer. Phew.

    Hope you are all okay
