I'm on 2 NSD after today.
And I renewed my mobile contract to an iPhone today, but they're going to put all my charges on my next bill so I won't pay anything extra for a month, and it didn't affect my NSD! :jTotal debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -

It's not bad, but doesn't "brown" as much as I'd like in my machine. Going to try using the machine on the 'dough' setting and then cooking in the oven next time I think
Your DS costs you a fortune - must have hollow legs:eek:
He used to be a real "tiddler", and hardly ever ate or drank anything. Then a few years back he shot up...... and milk consumption trebbled while he started eating a lot more without moaning he "doesn't like" (though he's still a tad fussy!)
What a lovely customer buying you chocolates - that’s great!:)
I know her through school (I volunteer in the pre-school class, and her DD was one of my "charges" last school year). Saw them going into the store while I was on my break, and went to say hello on my way back in. Was teasing DD about the fact they were buying pizza for tea (pretending to invite myself over to eat her share), then talking to Mum who had hold of the trolley with her younger DS in. I suddenly spotted DD (who was standing closer to me) starting to struggle to breathe - so I grabbed her and walloped her on her back...... bringing up 3 large unchewed wine gums she'd just tried to swallow. One of our managers was in the vicinity, and must have checked with Mum they were alright as I dived off to get back to my section (having got wipes from the deli and cleaned up DD and the floor) as he then came to find me to say she'd asked him to tell me she was very grateful.
A bit later they came and found me in my section to give me the chocs as a thankyou. Told Mum I couldn't have them on the shop floor, but she'd explained to the lass on the till that she wanted to come and give them to me so had been given a reprint of the receipt which (once certified by a manager) means I'm OK with purchased merchandise. When I told her there was no need for buying me anything, she just shrugged it off with a comment about she'd "frozen on the spot and got into a panic" and didn't know what she'd have done had I not been there. As I told her though, I think it's a lot easier when it's not your own child/family who's in trouble.
I don't think I actually said a proper Thankyou though, so must try and catch her at school drop-off tomorrow morning to do soCheryl0 -
LSD for me today. Temptation is everywhere and I am a bit like Wilde when it comes to it - can resist anything but...A pound spent on coffee and pie - but it was a good deal.
